Set of 3 Hongdian Fountain Pen Rainbow Nibs (Fine, Extra Fine and Bent Nib) for Black Forest 1850, 1851?6013, 517S and 517D Series

The media could not be loaded.  Bought this set of nibs mainly to obtain the fude nib (bent tip) for sketching. It gives varying line weights depending upon angle and pressure, can also be used backwards for ultra fine.

I'm so glad I was able to buy replacement nibs to fit my rainbow pen. I dropped it and damaged the nib and I'm happy with the replacements.

I bought these as a gift for an artist, and they loved them. I should say that they asked for them, so probably already knew they were good quality, but they are in constant use and no complaints, so I guess they're exactly what was needed.

These are great nibs which just screw into the Hongdian pen, which I have reviewed elsewhere. I tried the bent nib, which is really designed for oriental writing which need the variety of line thicknesses to form the pictograms, but found that it did not suit my style of writing. Don’t give up however it may be just the thing for your style. The other two nibs are great and very smooth writers.

Gives an option to replace the nib int he Hongdian pens and experiment with different nib sizes and options.easy to replace and good quality.For someone owning Hongdian pen there is no reasons not to have those to have a bit more options

I have a Hongdian pen that I like apart from the extra fine nib so I wanted to change it for a fine nib. I bought this trio as I couldn’t find an option to just buy one and I chose the blue colour as my pen is a very similar colour. Sadly the colour wore off immediately. As soon as I inked the pen for the first time, I wiped the excess ink from the nib but the colour has wiped off too. Not only that, the fine is very similar to the extra fine that I already had. I do have the option of trying the bent nib but, for me, this purchase was a waste of my money.

I bought the three nibs which were advertised as items frequently bought with Black Forest fountain pen. Even the brand was the same and when I searched nibs for Black Forest it came out with these. But they do not fit at all
