Having lots of very thin strands of hair it’s important to me that I get a good protection spray, but also that it smells good. This product is both! It smells amazing and keeps my hairs moisture locked in so I can achieve the results I want. I will say sometimes when spraying it does occasionally shoot a straight line instead of a fine mist but that’s not something major at all as I wait for it to dry before applying any heat

I used this spray on damp hair before blow-drying and it helped my hair dry faster while keeping it smooth. It’s very lightweight and didn’t make my hair feel greasy or weighed down. What stood out the most was the shine — after I finished styling my hair looked really glossy and healthy, and I actually got a compliment about how shiny my hair looked. It also helped reduce frizz and made my hair feel soft instead of stiff like some heat sprays can do. If you blow-dry or flat iron your hair often and want something that protects from heat while giving your hair a smooth, shiny finish, this works really well.

This really does smell good and it actually does cut drying time dramatically. However I bought it for the silk feel. I was attempting a silk press. This isn’t good for that. It dries your hair so fast that the hair started snagging and it got so rough and tough it was like brushing and blow drying straw or hay. So it was a bit annoying and a little painful plus I had to do more passes than I wanted to. But overall good product and the smell it’s just… well it took away that blower flat iron smell and that’s major!

Had no smell and it's like water. I wanted to use this product on myself for a blowout done by myself. But it seems like I'm just putting more water on my hair. Am I doing something wrong?

Provides great volume and smoothness, while also being a heat protectant. The smell is strong at first, but fades after a few hours. For this price point I will definitely repuchase.

I've been using this with my L'ange Le Volume, which is the brush/dryer combined and it gives the fresh from salon blowout look and feel. My hair is long and fine but have a lot of it. I did a comparison to John Frieda brand and was very impressed with the OGX. In fact, I actually felt like I got a better result from the OGX. First the smell is pleasant but doesn't linger. There is a slight stickiness if you are applying it to your hands (just spray it directly on hair lifting and spraying and then brush through, stickiness problem solved). Also, I towel dry my hair for a short time prior to spraying into my hair (this is more because I get distracted). I let set for a about 2 minutes to absorb into my hair before drying. Drying time was very reasonable given the amount of hair I have. Once I complete blowout, the end result is smooth and sleek. Keep in mind, this is not a frizz control product. For frizz control you would want to use a product that is specifically for frizz or one that includes in the blowout spray.

This has a nice light scent and is moisturizing.
