I bought to use as curtain rods. They are straight, smooth, affordable. I live in Santa Monica, near lots of art stores. No way could I find 4 foot dowels. Very happy with purchase.I previously bought a few 4 ft curtain rods, but they were flimsy. I should have gotten longer rods. But for far less money, I bought the wooden dowel rods. I don't open my curtains, so these are just perfect for my needs.

Good quality. Needed the 48" length for the roman shades I made. Much cheaper than purchasing from local retailers too.

All 5 of the dowels I received were very warped and bent. But I’ll make them work.

We have a wood working business and because of the amount of dowels we use, we often buy out our local suppliers. It’s good to know we can get a large quantity of dowels quickly and at half the cost we pay at our local hardware store. I will definitely be ordering from this merchant again.

I purchased these to create a rack for my power tools in the garage. They did not have any gouges cracks or any other defects.

These dowels were advertised here on the Amazon site as bring “straight”. They are so warped that they won’t roll on a glass tabletop. I will not be able to use these for my project. Extremely disappointed. Will never buy from this vendor again.

Perfect for my craft project. All pieces were cut perfectly to length, everything was intact when I received it. Was well wrapped and protected, too!
