I can’t say much about the seals—my knowledge of hose bibb internals is about on par with reading your mind. That said, I had zero issues replacing the flat washers on a 30-year-old hose bibb, plus a few more around the house and for some neighbors.The hardest part? Breaking loose three decades of paint and grime clinging to the faucet like it was guarding a secret. Pro tip: paint stripper is a no-go. A little heat and a big wrench got the job done without any drama.Once freed, it was simple—remove the screw, pop off the old washer, press in the new one. Maybe two minutes of actual repair... after 30 minutes of wrestling it free.I get why people just opt to replace the whole thing—but not for $200. That’s highway robbery with a wrench. YMMV

For the 48-pc package I received, it has 4 ea.1/4s flat washers, 5 ea.1/4M flat washers, 5ea. 1/4 flat washers, 5 ea. 1/4L flat washers, and 5 ea. 3/8 flat washers. For beveled washers, it has 4 ea.1/4S, 4 ea.1/4M, 5 ea.1/4, 4 ea.1/4L, and 3 ea.3/8. There are also 2 ea. #8 and 2 ea. #10 screws. Out of these washers, there is one defective washer (please see the picture). 4/5 stars for me

They work very well

A very nice selection of hard rubber washers saving me a trip to the hardware store. Except, I'll still have to go because the screws are steel plated with brass. That I've seen, brass plated screws are better than zinc plated, but barely. They should be solid brass for resistance to corrosion, plating doesn't work to protect the screw (and thus your repair). If you need a different screw size than #10-24, you'll also be going to a different source.

This assortment of washers includes the flat rubber washer to repair the stem inside of hose bibbs. This little washer is usually the reason why I had to buy new hose bibbs...because I could not find the correct sized stem washer to stop the leak. With the cost of everything increasing, I rather repair the stem washer (a simple fix), rather than continue to purchase new hose bibbs at $14 apiece. Very difficult to find these washers at the big box stores, or anywhere for that matter. I was very happy to find that the correct sized stem washers were included in this kit. I've repaired all my old hose bibbs that I keep for emergencies, and will never have to buy another hose bibb. The screws with this kit didn't fit my older home's hose bibbs, but I finally found a replacement...M4 70x6 METRIC at home depot. This is the handle screw that sometimes rusts over the years, some of which I had to use a screw extractor on in order to remove them. I recommend this washer assortment.
