Omm Sonic Running Smock - SS17

Ordered to use on days when my OMM waterproof is just not needed, the Smock certainly caught me off guard when I first opened it. It's unbelievably thin and light, but doesn't feel cheap or poorly made in anyway - although I could safely say that about all of the OMM gear I've bought. The material does an excellent job of blocking out the wind (which is really its sole purpose!) and the lightness makes it seem like there's really no extra layer.About my only 'complaint' is in the shortness of the length. Where my OMM jacket drops down to a reasonable amount below the waist, this sits higher up, and on colder days when a bit more lower body protection is required (read: wearing running tights, gents), you can feel slightly, erm, exposed around the nether regions. This isn't a jacket though, so it's not a fault of the design, just something to note. Overall I'd highly recommend it for anyone wanting a true lightweight windproof option.

Brilliant lightweight windstopper. Not waterproof but will keep you warm in the wet as long as you moving as pertex shell stops wind chill. Smaller than pocket size when stowed a must have piece of kit for any serious outdoors person or mountain runner in my opinion. Sizes to suit athletic build as with all Omm kit (a little smaller than average)
