There are two sticks of ram. each stick is 8gb with a total of 16gb.

Q: does this pc have empty memory slots for extra ram?

Yes, mine came with 2 sticks of ram with another 2 empty slots. I upgraded mine right away to 4 sticks of 8gbs, for a total of 32gbs of ram.

Q: My son just ordered and received. description says "free gaming keyboard & mouse." is that in the main cpu box?
