Great, healthy snack for my dog and cats!!! They go crazy for them! I actually ground up half a package and placed it in a spice jar and use it as a topper, just sprinkle a tiny bit over the food and they love that too!!!

First let me preface this by saying I have green lipped mussel powder to add as a supplement to my dogs' wet food, and it stinks to high heaven, like rotted dessicated shellfish... Not for the faint of heart. Now, I also love seafood, especially sea scallops. Anyone who loves scallops probably likes the smell as well. It doesn't smell like other shellfish or seafood. It's kind of sweet smelling and not unpleasant to me. That being said, these mussels do not smell like the horrible powder I have and expected, but they smell exactly like fresh sea scallops to me. It was quite a surprise. And my dogs go gaga over them. I don't know if it's just this batch (God I hope not), but these do not stink. However, people who don't like seafood may not like the smell. Unfortunately I can't put myself in their shoes. All I can say is if the mussels are supposed to smell like this, then I will buy them a lot more often. For some reason I have this craving for scallops since I've opened these. And they're good for my dogs. A win-win situation.

Excellent source of vitamins for dogs. Of course; there is a slight fish smell but it is to be expected. Dogs love them. So good for their digestion, skin, coat. Buy the 2 pack to save a bit of money. I will only give freeze dried, single ingredient treats to the “kids”. They are worth every penny.

For some reason these were shipped in an envelope, and not a box like usual. They arrived completely smashed. I get you can use them as a topper, but we don’t. They are usually a good size and a treat for our old dog to help his joints. They are just too expensive to be powder. Otherwise we love this product and it gets 5 stars. Just disappointed in the most recent purchase.

My dogs love these and I love them for the benefits they provide. It is easy to give them each a couple of the mussels ata time when they are still whole but often a lot of the mussels are smashed when my order arrives. They are pretty fragile and I live in Alaska so they are shipped a long ways, but I wish the pacakging were a little better so half the bag wasn't half crumbs. For the price we pay per bag please consider a better way to ship them with minimal breakage.

These just seemed average. The dogs liked them but I liked another brand better. Mainly because the other brand really smelled like mussels. These didn't have much of a smell. I know for some people they might find that a plus. But, I think a food should smell like what it is.

Stinky, crunchy and my cats find them tasty. I crumbly some up periodically on my cats food to add bit more nutrition to their diet.

Neither my dog or cat would eat this product! My dog is not a picky eater at all but would not touch it. I didn’t realize you could not return it.
