Very effective
Despite having a burner for a few years, I have been persevering with using screwed up newspaper as fire lighters, but they really didn’t work very well. Finally it occurred to me to get some proper firefighters. Suddenly the fire starts perfectly every time, who would have thought it! Can’t believe it took me so long to try these, but they are really good.

Best firelighters I have found. They light easier that the chemical ones. They burn well and last long enough to get a good fire going. A couple of these under some kindling wood then smokeless coal on too. Usually takes one match and our fire is on
