This pad is exactly what we needed in front of the kitchen sink - thickness and support. While there does tend to be occasional water splash from the sink, after about a day the entire kitchen floor (linoleum) was like a skating rink. We wear socks in the house and the intended environment for this product appears to be for offices where shoes are common. I doubt there would be a problem in that area.We had to apply dish-washing soap to both sides of the pad to rub the coating off. Once we did that and scrubbed the Kitchen floor with dish-washing soap, the problem was gone. It was amazingly slick!!

I have a standing desk and usually replace my floor mat around every two years. I stand for 9 hours a day. Ordered this one due to reviews. I don’t like this mat. I can almost feel all the way through to the floor under my heels. The mat I am replacing is a kitchen aid, it was much, much better than this one. I kept the old one and put this one on top.

Love it, exactly what I needed with the new standing desk work got me. Soft, but rugged enough to roll my chair right over top of it when I need a break and sit down. I even slip my shoes off sometimes and stand on this for some foot bliss. You can definitely notice the difference after a long day of standing with and without it.

I use this for my standing computer desk at work. It is so comfortable that I have no problem standing for long periods of time. I would buy again!
