No SD card slot as advertised, but seller is exceptionally responsive.
Does not include SD card reader function as advertised. Will need to order another one or return this item. Item works fine otherwise.Update:Seller is extremely responsive and made all possible efforts to correct this issue. Initially I felt very negative about this purchase, but seller really changed my mind by standing behind their product.

It would be nice if the seller would show if it is packaged ...
Item did not work on the left side of MacBook pro, intermittent connection on right side. This has Asian market packaging and no USA warranty. Only warranted through seller, not through Verbatim. It would be nice if the seller would show if it is packaged for foreign markets and if there is a USA warranty through the manufacturer.

It's ok. What I didn't realize is that it doesn't work to passthrough the signal to an external monitor which is a bit of limitation for a MacBook. The device is great for adding SD card support but it is expensive for just that purpose.
