My male Malinois has Lar Par and tends to be warm. I need to keep him cool as much as possible. This wet suit helps in summer. The zipper is plastic, and sometimes a little difficult if he gets dirt in it. Otherwise, it has really helped my dog.

I have a working husky cattle dog mix and this cooling vest has SAVED him during our 9 mile workdays outdoors in the August heat. It’s easy to wet, wring, wash, and I love that it’s lightweight! It helps to reflect some sun so he’s not baking. When I take it off the area where the cooling vest sits is COOL TO THE TOUCH!!

Bought this for my weimaraner because he runs HOT. If it his 70 degrees he's panting. This vest works really well and keeps him cool for our hikes. Easy to clean. The zipper can be a smidge tricky but if you dog isn't a squirmy worm should you have no problem getting it on! It fits smoothly under a harness. So glad I bought one for him.

The quality seemed pretty good as far as the material and cooling components. I can see how the zipper is not super strong. However the large was way too big and the medium was too small for my dog and it’s not adjustable.

I could not recommend this product more! This is the only thing that got my dog through a summer camping trip in Arizona, Utah, and Joshua Tree. She was kept cool the entire time. I have no idea how it works, but its truly amazing how cold this gets. The difference that it made for my dog was noticeable from the time we put it on her. She immediately stopped panting and seemed very relaxed and happy. She wore it for weeks and it is still as good as when it first got it. Its very durable. It fits her perfectly as well and is a light weight solution. This was a great deal.

We took this in our walk and the very first time using it, the zipper broke before the walk was even over. Also the size is not accurate my dog should have been an xl and the fabric covers his lower abdomen like picture but the negative part is having to constantly rolling it up when he stops on the walk multiple times to use the bathroom. Sadly we cannot return it due to it being barely outside the time period. We were hoping to exchange it for even just a new one with a not faulty zipper to give it a second try but we have no way to contact the seller. Hoping to find a way soon.

I am so happy I found this vest! My two Pomeranians get so hot during our trips and the vest was life changing. It took only a few minutes after putting the vest on, for my dog to feel comfortable! I originally bought one vest in a pet store, while we were traveling and the second had to purchase through Amazon. Honestly, one of the best ways to cool off your dog! It is made of a fabric similar to bathing suit, and the way the vest works if it is being kept wet with cold water. The photo of my dog was taken on 80’s degrees day, and she was finally feeling comfortable.

Sizing is a bit off. I love Ruffwear products because they last through extensive use, but this vest sizing runs a bit larger than I expected. The fabric material is not comparable to their winter dog jackets which fit snuggly; this vest was loose at the chest cavity. I purchased the same sizing I use for other Ruffwear gear but the underside just seemed hang and didn’t seem to serve a purpose.
