It woks as the original remote control. No code needed. Only place batteries and you are all set to use. Value for the money. It works as the original control . Easy to use . The original remote control cost more than $50.00 plus shipping. Value for theMoney. I highly recommend it.

Works, but nowhere close to the original
With this remote, you have to be standing and pointing it very close to the unit. Nowhere near the quality of the pioneer that it replaced.
