Namibian Spices
We just returned from the Kalahari in Namibia and bought these spices in the Duty Free in Windhoek. We enjoyed these items so much we have made several subsequent purchases on Amazon for family and friends.

Pepper and salt are the best seasoning, this is a big improvement on low-capacity electric grinders.
I have a set of rechargeable electric pepper and salt mills. There is an issue with them though having to do with control, and ease of refilling. The peppermill for instance barely holds a tablespoon full of whole peppercorns in its storage well. Plus, to refill that well the opening is tiny, I've almost ever been able to fill it without spilling a number of peppercorns on the floor. They roll and are easy to trip over if not careful, so I break out the broom and dustpan each time. The other issue is it takes a long while to get significant pepper out of the mill. Therefore, I typically use a bottle with built-in manual grinder for pepper from the grocery. It's effective, but this is more expensive than bulk peppercorns, and the bottle is not refillable, the top will not come off when empty. Here's where this makes its "bones" as a good product. I can use the large bag of fragrant peppercorns I was refilling the powered mills with, or any bulk type I get from the health food stores with white or red or other types of peppercorns. The cap screws off and filling is easy with a large opening to pour in the refill. It grinds well with the ceramic grinder and gets proper pepper quantity out in short order. If I had an issue, it would be that the grinder has no adjustment so you can't control the "grind" of the pepper. This is not much of an issue, since it's not something like coffee beans or other things proper with the grind size. The price is great, and since I don't run a restaurant or anything, the ten-refill suggested lifetime ought to last me 3-5 years. Recommended.
