This little device packs a lot of punch at a nice price!I use the SD card reader with flac music files and works great. The accessibility to your files is limited with only the ability to go back and forth through them, but works for me when I’m not looking for a particular song. There is also a usb port which works similarly.I was able to quickly connect my android phone to the Bluetooth and play music through it that way as well, when I want to hear something specific.While it’s obviously not high end hi-fi gear at this price point, it powers my old Bose tower speakers very well, and I’m using it to replace a Fosi 100w / channel amp.The remote control is a little limited and the range/ beam angle doesn’t seem great, I may try a fresh battery and see if that improves function.The radio function works quickly, and while I think the antenna is super cute, I’m not sure I noticed much difference in reception with it deployed.All said the good amount of power and Bluetooth is enough for my most common needs. The card reader is great, I like to make playlists and just let it play so works great for that as well. The addition of a radio is nice, I still have some local radio shows I like to listen to and this is more convenient than streaming.-There are a few EQ presets, which change the soundscape a bit. I won’t mess with them too often and would prefer bass and treble knobs.I haven’t tried out the karaoke function yet, but just another added function on this “Swiss army” mini amp. I was a little disappointed that the speaker wire ports weren’t large enough to accept banana clips, so had to insert bare wire.The footprint is a bit larger than the fosi amp it’s replacing, sill 1/3 the size of a traditional stereo amplifier. Just a standard 2 prong plug, which I like instead of a hot power pack, you have to find a place for.Also RCA input so you can connect your turntable!PROS: Price, power, versatility, footprint. No bulky power pack.CONS: Lacks treble/bass control, and ability to easily traverse music files, can’t use banana connectors.Overall this is a buy!Great device - especially for tight apartment living.

Wanted a little more wattage then the echo provides in my kitchen. I do a lot of sports listening but also enjoy music and this paired with some decent 40 watt speakers gives me all i need and makes Alexa more helpful as well. Great little receiver.

Easy to use. Music comes out as good as a more expensive receiver.

Very pleased with how well the AM01 works with the in-ceiling speakers in our house. (When we purchased our house, all the amps, tuners, etc. had been removed leaving dangling speaker wires in closets.) Bluetooth pairing was immediate and the FM radio tuning was very easy. Instructions for setup are great. I doubt that we will take advantage of the Karaoke/Mic functionality but I’m sure it works solidly as well. When the weather warms up again in the spring, we will move it for use with the outdoor rock speakers around the pool so we can take advantage of the remote. It is so nice to have use of the speakers with an affordable solution!

Great replacement for my Sony STRDH130 to simplify operation, boost amplification, better match my 6-ohm tower speakers and I no longer need phono or satellite input. CD/DVD/BlueRay sound is input from TV SDIF connection to a DAC and output to Line input. Bluetooth music from my cellphone and tablet is plus! Eliminating the hunt for the appropriate selection buttons on a huge remote control and reducing the receiver/amp footprint is great. FM radio reception is also improved.
