I like the compact size. I needed an airhorn amplifier without the sirens, this is the perfect functionality I wanted. Price point is on par to compete with higher end brands. The quality is very good. If you're able to read and just a little handy it's easy to install. Loudness is beautiful.

So I ride a Ninja and that stock horn is not something that gets the attention of idiots who run a stop sign in front of you in 5 o'clock traffic. I recently replaced my fairings and while I had them off, I installed the horn and the speaker that comes with in the set. WOW... damn near deafened myself testing it in the garage. It's loud, it's an attention getter... think firetruck horn. Not the siren, the traffic horn. or the police car horn. Two short blasts on this thing turn heads instantly. Heads come up off the damn cell phone texting and you see all eyes in the mirrors. Love this thing. Rarely use it but when I need it, it's powerful and gets people focused instantly.

So I got this for Christmas and hooked it to the siren speaker I have already. It didn’t work. Contacted the company directly and they sent a replacement. The replacement didn’t work. So they deduced that my siren speaker was the right impedance for the horn. So they sent me a brand new one of theirs. It worked! I asked if I owed for the speaker they said no. So I have to say even though it wasn’t in the description that I needed an 8 ohm impedance speaker they made it better by helping me figure it out and providing me a speaker for the trouble. I do recommend. When I tested the system it was loud and made me jump standing next to it lol. So yeah it is loud lol.

I bought one if these in 2018 and it still works flawlessly. I recently acquired a second vehicle that I wanted to install this in however it's been redesigned. I thought the redesign was only excluding the internal relay which would be no big deal, However, it turns out its been completely redesigned and it no longer works with name brand siren speakers which are all 11ohm speakers. This redesigned unit will only work with the cheap no name speakers which are 8ohm. The description still claims it will work with all 100w speakers but it doesn't. I contacted the company directly and after multiple days of sending messages, pictures and videos they told me it is guaranteed to work with only their 8ohm siren speakers. They sent me links to purchase one of their speakers and outright refused to send me one. I'm returning this. Read the reviews and note Amazon's notice that this item sees high returns. The reason is stated above. Don't buy this onless you are also buying a cheap chineese speaker to use it with because it doesn't work with federal signal siren speakers. They said mabye whelen speakers but I'm not willing to spend more time or money to find out. Search up lamphus soundalert air horn on YouTube I'm going to make a video about this.

Does not work with actual siren speakers!!!! I tried a Federal signal ESP 100w and it blew the speaker, you had to use a cheap Amazon speaker, don’t buy if you use real gear, On the other hand, it does work and make a good tone with a cheap speaker but I’m disappointed that it wouldn’t work with my actual 11ohm speaker

I ordered this 1-30-20 & it was on the bike and operating 2-1-20 before dinner. It's heavier than I anticipated (that's a good thing when everything you buy today is lightweight plastic), even the bracket for the switch is good quality. I picked the Lamphus saah75 up to drive the "air horn" on my retired FLHP. I didn't want the siren functions, just the horn and this unit works beautifully. If you want to know what it sounds like ask a motor officer to hit his/her horn for you. I also hooked up an old car alarm "siren" to this amp and it drove it beautifully as well. I might pick up another saah75 and wire it to the old car alarm and set it up as a burglar alarm in the shop.

Hooking this up is very simple. once you have 12v and ground, there is one factory wire you need to splice, which is the horn relay wire. Very simple. My car required an extra relay, which I did not know about, because my horn is controlled by ground. This is a simple enough deal, to wire in an additional relay, but would have been nice to know about before hand, as now I have to wait 2 days for the relay. Their customer service tech line was able to inform me of this, and very quickly point me to what I need, so no issue.

This was the exact part I needed. Now my horn works like it should.

I bought one of these and it worked for a month and then stopped working. Only a click sound comes from the siren speaker when power is applied. It was past the return window so I sucked it up and bought another one. Only used it a few times and now it’s doing the exact same thing. Only a short click when power is applied to it! I’ve bought 2 of these to now still not have a working unit. They both look brand new and were installed on a new truck in a dry spot. Terrible! I don’t know what to do. I hope the seller can reach out and make this right so I can change this review, otherwise if this is still up, DO NOT BUY THIS!!!

This is everything they say: an electronic police air horn sound, easy to install, and very compact.

My review is not unlike many other Canadians. The device worked well until it reached about 9 degrees below. At that point all it produced was a short chirp. I believe the capacitors dislike cold weather. This is my third device in two years.
