It works, but keep a few things in mind...
I’m giving it 5 stars because it works. You can see the before and afters of several types of flowers I pressed with it in my pictures. The end result looks good, and it’s quick. However, I do have a few issues with it:- It is a lot smaller than I had anticipated. That’s on me for not reading the dimensions more closely, but I feel like for the price and considering how cheap the materials are, it should be bigger. You can’t press much at all in one go. A few leaves or small flowers at a time.- It feels really cheap. It’s just plastic plates, thick felt, two pieces of linen, and rubber bands. You could definitely DIY a bigger one for the same price or cheaper.- The directions are rubbish, but that’s okay because it’s fairly easy to get the hang of. Just microwave for 15-20 seconds at a time and change the plates each time.- They only include two of the cloths that the flowers are sandwiched directly in between. The problem with this is that the cloths get stained by the flowers almost immediately. You can see in the pictures how dirty mine are after only doing about 5 batches of flowers. Here’s how you can learn from my mistakes:- The directions are for a 1000W or lower microwave. My microwave is 1500W. I still tried doing it at 20 seconds, and this resulted in my first batch of flowers being burnt. It burnt a hole through the cloth and into the felt piece. I found that 15 seconds is ideal for my microwave to avoid burns.- DO NOT put the flowers you intend to press in a vase with water overnight like this dummy did. Let them dry out a little naturally before you press them. My flowers were so full of water from sitting in the vase overnight that it took far longer than it should have to press them.- The directions say to check the underside of the plates for moisture each time to judge whether your flowers are done. That method did not work for me, maybe because my flowers were just too wet. There was always moisture on the plates, and when I judged by that I let them go too long and burn. Instead, I learned to check the flowers themselves. If they looked pressed and felt dry to the touch, I considered them done. I would suggest looking at both the flowers and the plates to judge how done they are.Overall, good product. There’s a little learning curve, but after you get the hang of it you can have beautiful pressed flowers in minutes!

Simple to use to press beautiful flowers in seconds!
I purchased this Flower Press Kit because I wanted to try to preserve some of my favorite summer flowers from my backyard and garden. I ended up experimenting with pressing various flowers, leaves, and stems and creating pressed flower creations that I attached to paper, framed, and gifted to family and friends. This kit works beautifully. It is simple to use, takes seconds to press flowers, and helps to preserve the flowers' colors. I would love it if this company would also make a larger press for larger leaves and flowers. I would definitely recommend.

Very cool!
It is so cool! It is really small, the biggest flower I have dried so far is a gerber, but it works great! I have had so much fun! It is a little confusing with the directions, but after a couple reads, and actually using it, it is really easy! I got a pretty good rhythm going and dried a bunch of flowers in no time! It is easy and fun for the price! I wasn't sure what to expect but I have been drying flowers all day! Worth it!

Works great!
Since I do crafts and love flowers, I wanted to try pressing. I tried several flowers and all came out great! It was easy to use and did not disappoint. There are you tube video's on microwave flower pressers that helped me get started. It was easy to do. Just make sure you pick flowers after the morning dew wears off and do it in stages starting with 30 seconds and dropping to 20. The smaller flowers take less steps with the larger, thicker flowers taking longer. Just be careful to stretch the clothe and remove the flower slowly if it sticks, I broke one when I didn't remove it properly.

It’s OK in a pinch, but you could do better.
So this product is easy to use, I will give you that. However, it is small. A crafty person could probably go out to a craft store and create a “microwave kit” like this her or himself for less or for equal money but and end up with a larger size to fit more flowers at one time. But this is my pure speculation! Reader do your own research—all these reviews are, like, opinions man!

Burns and melts in microwave- fire hazard
This product worked As directed for one use. The second time I used it The flower petals inside burned through the liner and melted to the felt pads and continued to melt or burn more with every use. It is ruined. I tried just using paper in place of the liner and this worked a little, but almost all the flowers scorched and the felt pads continued to melt. So I switched out the felt pads with just paper towels- (note, this is how I normally press flowers in the microwave, just with heavy glass pie plates on top instead of sandwiched between the plastic plates. I occasionally have flowers darken too much or scorch a tiny bit but this is after several minutes of microwaving time) when I did this, the flower burnt to a crisp burned the paper and paper towels after only 20 seconds and could have caught on fire. I think the plastic plates cause too much heat retention.

Works very quickly
I know it's billed sort of like a kids toy, but it works so perfectly, and so quickly, that I use it to dry flowers for collage. It is small, the whole thing is about 4" square, so you can't do a whole lot at once, but each session only lasts a few minutes so in half hour to an hour you can get a lot done. Here's how it works... you layer it up the way the directions tell you, wrap the bands around it and stick in the microwave. You take it out every 20 seconds, change the black plates and bands (they give you two sets of each) and stick it back in for another 20 seconds. You do that until the black plates show no moisture or condensation on them. For me, that's about 4 or 5 rounds of 20 seconds each. Viola! dried "pressed" flowers in three minutes. Love it.
