Yescom 35W HID Slim Ballast DC 12V Digital Universal Replacement for Xenon Light H1 H3 H7 H8 9005 9006 Pack of 2

I bought these ballasts to replace one of the AC ballasts I had on my 2014 CX-5. These plastic ballasts are small and light. The headlights turned kind of blue instead of bright white with the 600K HID bulbs.

I was thrilled to find these inexpensive ballasts. There is however one critical flaw in their design. It is nigh impossible to plug the power connector into these unless you have plenty of slack in the factory harness because the port is rigidly built into the ballast itself rather than being attached via cable. Were it Not for extensions that came with a prior hid kit I Wild not have been able to use them.Also they feel very cheap and don’t appear to be water resistant at all. That said, they have held up for months already. Time will tell.

Not as Brite as I wanted but easy to install.

When working great. Bought the 35w version on 16 Jan 2019 and by 20 Jan one of the ballasts has become defective. There is a static buzzing sound coming from the defective ballast when the lights are engaged. Without taking the bulb out I do believe the HID bulb it's attached too is perfectly fine. I mean for $12 bucks you can't beat the price but its probably a cheaply made ballast. I have Canbus resistors working as well. My car is a 2015 Doge Charger Scat Pack

I used them as a temporary solution in my car's headlights. (I have an HID retrofit). I was planning on getting the 55w version but it was sold out so I got the 35w one. It worked flawlessly. I only used it for like 3 months but it simply worked every time. the mounting hardware is not the best, but it worked. the fact that the power connector is attached directly to the ballast instead of with a cable makes mounting them quite tricky, since the connector might get in the way. I definitely recommend these. Even if they fail, they're $12 so no big deal, but mine worked no problem 100% of the time.

auque resulto muy facil la instalacion, solo me duro 3 semanas antes de quemarse el ic + el condensador . compre otro par de 55w y estos vinieron con los pines de la bobina de salida desoldados solde y 1 funciono, el otro solo se calentaba, en corto de fabrica, supongo!

I’m no mechanic by any means but I could manage installing this . First set I bought made a really loud sound and stopped working . Second pair currently working like a charm . . Would recommendation this. MAKE SURE THEY ARE GROUNDED
