Holding hot glue stick
I had some glue sticks and glue gun but they never helped me at all..So I bought.a better hold glue gun and these glue sticks They will hold anything I have used them on Glue 2. pieces of wood together and you will have a hard time getting apart They work very very good in the shop on many jobs Highly recommend them for the newbies and old hands

Way too expensive, but…
…my old-but-still-working glue guns won’t feed today’s standard (0.44/0.44”) glue sticks — so I bought these 1/2” ones to fit — but also bought a new gun to use the many 0.45” sticks that I had purchased not knowing that my old guns wouldn’t feed them (I’ll be adding half of these along with each of the two guns that I will be giving away to someone in need of a small amount of glue for their project). 20230226

Standard glue sticks works really well.

I loaded these glue sticks into a brand new hot glue gun so there would be no contamination from any previous glue. On the pack it states: "Allows more time to lineup on larger areas. Sets in 60 to 90 seconds." I have used it to stick 5mm foam board and cork to marble. Unfortunately, I did not experience the ability to move and lineup the surfaces before the glue gripped tightly on contact - just like a regular glue stick. This was a great disappointment since I had hoped for a minimum of 10 seconds of movement before the glue gripped too tightly to move the objects, but it didn't even manage that. The claimed 60-90 seconds set time seems a bit of wishful thinking rather than an inherent reproducible characteristic of these glue sticks. On the plus side, the glue seems to have good strength, but them most other brands do also.
