Just awesome
I am pleasantly surprised by the quality vs price of this blade. Super sharp and has a real hamon line. Don’t really care for the tsuba but I can always replace it. Was packaged well and had no damage. Well worth what I paid. If your looking for a usable Japanese style tanto that won’t break the bank this is it.

Exactly as described.
Over the past years I have purchased many Japanese swords from Amazon. All have been 5 👍👍👍👍👍.The packaging would have survived a mortar attack. Believe me, it was packed solid. The knife itself is, sharp, beautiful, and exactly as described. Again 5👍👍👍👍👍.Arrigato

Looks great, feels solid and came sharpened
I ordered this sword after disappointing previuos purchase of Ryumon sword.This is a high quality product. Looks great, feels solid and came sharpened.Pure pleasure to hold and practice.The only downside is it does not fit tight in saya and tends to fall out if you not careful.Stay focus this thing - it may hurt you bad.Overall it is an impressive blade. Highly recommended.

serious steel
This is a serious piece of steel. Don't be fooled by the pictures this thing is big and sharp. I tried it on a piece of paper and it was razor sharp out of the box.It came wrapped in a cotton cloth, the blade is oiled and it has some dust collected by the oil. If you are going to use this Tanto you will need to take care of it. Buy the Katana cleaning kit it sells for about $8.Again be very careful with this Tanto if it slips it could take one of your toes easily. The shipping was great and on time.I have only two complaints:1- I wish that it had a box or a stand included.2- the point line "Yokote" is not symmetrical, I mean that one side is slightly higher than the other side. Since this is my first ever Japanese sword I have no idea if this is a valid complaint or not, however considering the price this is a steal and my two complaints are just me being greedy.If you are considering buying it just do it you won't be disappointed. now I'm considering the Katana & Wakizashi #212C from the same company.

Good not great but solid for the price
Quality overall is good only the tip is sharp the rest of the sword edge down is dull other than that the sword feels solid not a bad but for the price!!

I own a couple katanas and now a tanto , this tanto is very good. I was not expecting this much when I orderd , it is 1045 which is on the softer side of carbon steel but it has a real hamon so it is an exceptional piece now it is heat treated I believe (this hardens the edge) I got the MUSASHI TSUBA one for 64$ get this one trust me , it does have real ray skin
