Chill Passion Stainless Steel Domed False Bottom, Select a Size (12", 10" or 9"), 12" L x 12" W

Works perfectly.I replaced a 3" high false bottom in my mash tun pot with this one. This one is 12" diameter. My mash tun is 20" diameter. I was concerned that because it didn't fit all the way to the inside wall of the pot it would fail to pick up all the wort. Turned out not to be a problem.The original false bottom left about 2 gals of wort in the pot. I'd have to tip the pot to get what remained. Don't have to do that with this one. After draining the wort, I let it stand for another 10-15 mins (while the boil pot is heating up). Drain another 1/2 - 1 gal of wort.There are at least a 1/2 dozen different sellers of this style false bottom just on Amazon. I chose this one because most of the other sellers had poor reviews due to missing parts. This one did not. I received it quickly and with all the parts.Would I buy this again? Yup.Would I recommend it and the seller? Yup.Any Cons? None that would make me reduce my rating. There were a couple sharp edges around the outside circumference. There was a caution not included in the package that also mentioned this. I took a small piece of sand paper to it.

I’ve used this false bottom on three batches of beer so far. It is extremely sturdy and easy to clean after the mash. This is a great buy when compared to the price of similar products. Also, fits perfectly in the bottom of a 10 gal “igloo” type cooler.

It worked perfectly with my keggle mash tun.

I was using a wire mesh tube before on my mash tun, and it was a nightmare. It would get clogged all the time or bent and stop transferring wort. Once I put this false bottom in, all my headaches went away. I had held off on buying one because of the price of most false bottoms, and this one was the most affordable one I could find. Works like a charm.

Great false bottom. Fits in my keggle perfectly, and fit the bottom of my previous 10 gallon cooler mash tun. I've got great efficiency using this and minimal dead space

Reasonably inexpensive. Had to file off the sharp edges: -1 star.Have used this twice now - infusion mash up to ~17#. Works as expected. Good efficiency. 5-gal Igloo cooler and a Lowe's Special - 1/2" FPT PVC valve, 1/2" MPT barb, and a 1/2" MPT right angle barb outside. And an O-ring. And some 3/8" hose. Couldn't see spending any more to brew Scotch Ale.

After reading all the reviews for this product and other identical products from other sellers, I chose to buy this. It seemed that a lot of reviews were negative because of missing pieces and/or sharp edges. I was pleasantly surprised that I had none of those issues. The false bottom came with all the parts shown, acceptable smoothness along the edges, and was clean and shinny. I am pleased with the item and I would recommend it.

The false bottom plate was the only part delivered. Not true to the advertised image.

This false bottom is okay but I had to make a small modification. It fits very loosely in an Igloo 10 gallon cooler, so I took some advice from another reviewer and added a clear vinyl ring by cutting tubing and fitting it on to the (sharp) bottom edge. Fits much better now and will not scratch the inside of the cooler.
