Great! Easier clean up
I recently decided to give the Kitty Sift Disposable Cat Litter Box a try, and I'm beyond pleased with my decision.First, the sustainable aspect of these litter boxes is a major win for me.Using the Kitty Sift has made my cat litter maintenance routine so much cleaner and more straightforward. The convenience of simply disposing of the box when it's time for a complete change, without the hassle of scrubbing and cleaning, is something I didn't know I needed until now. It's not only saved me time but also ensured that my home stays fresher. The boxes themselves are surprisingly sturdy, holding up well throughout use without any leaks or tears, which was an initial concern of mine. This durability, combined with the cleanliness they offer, has made the litter box changing process almost effortless.Additionally, my cats took to the Kitty Sift boxes immediately, which is always a concern when introducing new items into their routine. The boxes are spacious and comfortable for them, which makes me feel good about using them.

This is the only size that works and could be considered jumbo
I'm a bit torn with this product for a few reasons. First, I don't use the sifter. I just purchased the boxes. The size of these are definitely jumbo and are good for a full grown cat. It's so difficult to find disposable cat litter boxes that can be used for grown up cats. However if you just want to use the litter box, they are extremely flimsy and I usually stack two or three together to give it some strength. If you keep your litter level at or above 2 to 3 in, then you will not have anything seep into the ones below it. When I throw it away and get ready to use a new one, this is where the challenge begins. Have a garbage bag handy and slide it into it because you will find that it is so flimsy if you try to just carry it to your garbage can, you won't make it. Trust me on this!

are there good disposable sifting boxes for pine pellets that are not DIY?
I give this a 4 star, because my failure is not due to the manufacturing flaw of the product. in fact, it is well made, the base box also appeared quite thick, thicker than the nonsifting ones, which is good. one star off is the gaps are really too wide, and small pieces of feces can fall through. Depends on how active your cat's bowel is (mine is a kitten, and if a cat can look embarrassed, I saw it on his face). My problem is I recently adopted a kitten, and he can't use clumping clay, but has developed a good habit with pine pellets which I also like. So I am looking for a reasonably priced environmentally friendly disposable sifting box for pine pellets, as I abhor cleaning (litter boxes). There are plastic sifting litter boxes that are relatively inexpensive, but I can't justify disposing them at the frequency I prefer. Then I saw this sifting litter box, knowing very well what might happen from other people's reviews but had to try. The bottom is even raised so there is a nice gap for saw dust! But the pellets just went through... Doubling the boxes does not help, only consumed more pellets, and my hope went with the pellets down the openings. I went as far to drill holes in the nonsifting box, and happened to pick the one that came with the sifting boxes. Now, I only have simple DIY tools. The base is of good quality because after about 20 holes, my drill gave out a few coughs and refused to work anymore, and that was just 30% of the box. While I was contemplating buying a stronger drill, a moment of clarity made me wonder if my life had come to this. So, if the maker of this disposable box read this, please consider making one that will work with pine pellets. Or if anyone knew of where to purchase a decent environmentally friendly disposable sifting litter box (of good price!), please kindly let me know. thanks.P.S. I know I can try sifting liners, but there are logistics that need to work out first, especially when the kitten can turn into a were-kitty.

Huge quality of life upgrade if you can't tolerate the smell of cleaning out a litter box
I am over-sensitive to ammonia and plastic litter boxes seem to really hold onto and intensify the smell. Being able to put the entire thing into a trash bag vs. having to clean out a litter box is a quality of life upgrade that has been one of my best Amazon finds to date. I use these with silica cat litter and have no issues with odor or the bottoms of the boxes getting wet.

Cleanest & easiest litter box on the market
My diabetic cat, Razzee, won't use a litter box unless it's clean at all times. In my big search, I bought enough litter boxes & types of litter that I could open a store out of my garage. In the end the Kitty Sift recycled cardboard won over all the competition. My cat preferred clumping clay litter. Why? Because the the litter did not adhere at all to the sides & bottom of the cardboard, which enabled me to easily scoop out every clump & leave the cardboard box clean with no smell. Once a week, I slide the used box into a garbage bad & start afresh--no mess, healthy, lightweight, & eco friendly. No more standing in the driveway with a scrub brush or chisel trying to hack off the clumps glued to the plastic box then wash with a garden hose with yuk litter flying everywhere--at 78, I'm too old for that mess. As advertised, Kitty Sift will last 2-3 weeks, but I'm not taking any chances with my special needs cat, so I switch once a week. Razzee loves it, so why toy with perfection? Well worth the money!

Not sturdy enough
Really great size. It looked sturdy, but unfortunately my 8 month old kitten shredded it to oblivion in just one week. I will be getting other brands.

Great but expensive
I think these are wonderful and easy to toss with gross cat litter. However, they are a bit over priced. Easy for my cats to use and keeps the smell down some.

Nice and big, ecological, they don't last a real long period of time though
I mostly love these because they spare me from having to soak and scrub smelly litter boxes that absorb odors. They are biodegradable and lightweight; in a multicat household, they will not last a superlong period of time. The sides tend to collapse outward a bit. That's my only complaint though. I get these regularly and I'm happy with them.
