My daughter wanted a crystal ball for Christmas and this is what Santa brought. She loves it. Makes everyone watch when the pixie appears. She can so one her own after we did together a few times. Had an issue at first but I think I had it on nightlight mode and not spell mode.

Product worked amazing. I love how this worked vs the original moxies with the cauldron…the wand was great and how it’s set up to work is so much better and doesn’t jump ahead before your ready which was so much better to go through the magic with my kiddo who was fascinated by it but also distracted by the colors changing/sounds/mist so it giving them time to process everything and truly interact and not jump to the next step before we were ready was great! This was a great process to get the stuffy out of it. Kiddo loves the mixie we got and it’s interactive we’re still figuring out doing thi gs with it but kids really like it…my youngest is fascinated with the stuffy that talks lol…this is a great toy for many ages. As a parent even I enjoyed helping my child go through with the magic and get the mixie out! My 7 month old was fascinated watching the process and my 8 and 13 year olds both enjoyed going through with the steps and magic! The most was a great touch and amazing for the kids to see! It didn’t smell too bad but must usually gives an odor… We do have refill mist packs so this will get a lot more use than just the one and done time! I highly recommend parents get the most refill packs to hVe so theres more times the kids can play with it and enjoy the toy altogether!

The kids loved it. Upon receipt I expected to get a refill for the mist. I didn’t. Mailed supplier and received a quick reply that the product was shipped with enough mist fluid for several uses. Several means more than 2. I promptly ordered refills. Used it this afternoon and was quite disappointed because the density and amount of mist produced was barely visible when compared to all of the images the manufacturer presents. But Moose covers themselves. On the packaging there is a small disclaimer that tells you, after you’ve bought it that the mist shown on the package is for illustrative purposes only. After all what is magic without a mist? Shame on you Moose! You intentionally mislead kids and their grandparents. The only way I could figure around this was to perform the Creation in a totally dark room so we retreated to the bathroom and closed the door. There…it worked great. Nicely made, well finished, takes a bit long to Create but the kids love it and I recommend , along with the refill kit buying the 4 mini mixlings. Is it worth the money as a device? No. Is it worth the money as a toy? I think it is

This toy was extremely cute. I purchased it for my 5 year old daughter for Christmas. The instructions are a bit long with each step (lots of wand waving) but the best part is when the smoke begins to come. The video only shows the last set of wand waving that happens once the smoke begins, but there were a lot of steps prior to that. Definitely keep the instructions because there is no way you can memorize all the steps. This toy is about the experience, so from that perspective, it could certainly feel a little pricey. However, you can continue to use the crystal ball, putting other toys in it to appear, so at least it’s not a total waste. The smoke forms without needing to add anything to the toy. It comes ready to use out of the box. The stuffed animal that comes inside is very cute and the wand can be used on the stuffed animal as well. Overall, the toy functioned as commercialized so it was just as expected.

purchased the Magic Mixie Magic Crystal Ball on Amazon back in November. It was intended as the "big gift" for my 6-year-old son this Christmas—he absolutely loves magic, and I knew this toy would blow him away. I’m a widow raising three kids, so I budget carefully and can only afford one big toy for each of them each year, which makes this gift all the more special. Everything seemed perfect when it arrived. The package was delivered on time, in pristine condition, with all the wrapping and packing intact. I wrapped it up right away and tucked it away for Christmas morning. Today, when my son finally opened it, he was over-the-moon excited. We unboxed it carefully, watched a how-to video together, and double-checked the instructions before diving in. He was positively thrilled when the crystal ball started filling with smoke—that moment was magical. But then, at the very last step, something went wrong. The ball started flashing blue, then just stopped. It wouldn’t open. We heard it whirring and clicking, but no Mixie appeared. My son was a little let down but still hopeful, so I sent him to another room while I went through the troubleshooting steps. Unfortunately, no matter how many times we tried, we kept getting the same result. By the time we admitted defeat, his disappointment was much harder to ignore. I ended up manually opening the leaves to get the Mixie out, but even then, the Mixie itself wouldn’t turn on. I scrambled to find spare batteries from my TV remote, grabbed a screwdriver, and swapped them out. Finally, the Mixie came to life—but by then, the magical experience was gone. The big reveal, the joy of conjuring a special magical friend, was just… lost. What should have been an unforgettable Christmas memory turned into a letdown. Now I’m not sure what to do. The toy is open, the ball doesn’t work, and it doesn’t seem returnable at all. Tried several more times and put new batteries in and now it doesn't even turn on. Additionally the compartment where the misting solution sits is leaking liquid out the top around the outside. I contacted moose toys as a last option and after giving them all the info, serial numbers, photos, receipts and more photos they email me today and now they want a video of it not working to prove to their "service team" that it is indeed not working🙄Im pretty fed up and about to blast them and their poor customer service all over social media. Waste of my sons Christmas gift

The first magic mixie toy was a cauldron and you added all sorts of fun little packages with powders and fizzies and it was super fun. This magic mixie however fell short of my expectations. The crystal ball itself leaked sticky liquid and smoke also leaked from it, which was not a pleasant smell. Also, the wand and mixie crystal ball did not seem to communicate well with one another. My daughter honestly had no clue which step she was on, what spell she was supposed to be saying or what each color was supposed to mean. And after the mixie is revealed, it is still confusing as to how the wand interacts with the mixie and what mode the mixie is in. The mixie itself is cute, I really like that it has bendable arms/legs/tail and can hang off of things. I like the fortune telling feature where you can ask a question and get a yes or no. It makes some cute sounds and has a cool light feature on its forhead; however, considering the costly pricetag, I really feel they could have done a better job with this toy.

Very nice! My kid was so happy with the gift and it was a true hit, works well and I bought extra special effects so we could do again

This toy is fantastic and truly is impressive. Initially had an issue with the mixie toy features. But the manufacturer confirmed it need to have good quality batteries. Both the provided batteries and our own rechargeable ones were not sufficient to power the mixie itself. If you are buying the toy. Be prepared to swap out with high capacity batteries to avoid broken operation.
