Does a good job, just be aware it doesn't turn off automatically.
The charging cable input on my Samsung Galaxy S5 became intermittent and was a pain to use since it only charged when it wanted to. As a new generation Samsung phone was absolutely out of the question due to cost, I opted instead to get a wireless charging case and Qi charger, both of which would cost a fraction of a new phone and, I reasoned, considerably less to fix my phone's defective jack. I wanted just the back case with the wireless receiver only but that part was discontinued by Samsung years ago and the prices for used or old new stock on auction sites were nothing less than highway robbery. So I bought a used Samsung "leatherette" flip case. It prevents me from using my hard plastic protective case but I accepted the trade off in order to avoid the hassle of intermittent hard wire charging. I did research around getting just the wireless charging receiver and attaching it to my phone's battery and using the existing back cover, however, I read far too many negative reviews of these things not working, working intermittently, getting too hot, destroying the phone, etc. I figured going with a Samsung part was the safest route, and the used case was pretty cheap, all things considered.I departed from the brand name philosophy when it came to buying the charging base because I read too many negative reviews about the Samsung Qi charger. Plus, since this technology is supposed to be universal with any QI charger, I figured I didn't need to be limited to Samsung. BTW, the charging pad isn't truly wireless since you need to connect a power cord to it. The wireless feature is between the phone and the pad.Just about every charging base I looked at had lots of negative reviews...didn't work, worked okay for a few weeks only, got too hot, charging was way too slow, too hard to find "sweet spot" for charging, power light is too bright, etc. This was one of the few and perhaps only chargers that had no negative reviews. That in itself can be a red flag, and the fact that all the reviews were grouped in a similar time frame only added to the suspicion. Also, there were only a handful of reviews so the sample was pretty small. Nevertheless, I took a chance and purchased it.So far it has been working very well. It and my phone get a little warm but not to the point of causing any concern. I was also pleasantly surprised with the charging time. In my informal tests it took about the same amount of time as using my Samsung cable (when the cable worked that is). For example, with the phone's battery at 88%, it fully charged to 100% in 33 minutes, almost the exact same duration as the cable. The biggest problem I've encountered is I have yet to see the charger turn itself off after the phone is fully charged. I've left the phone on the pad for an hour after being fully charged and the charger still shows the green charging light. I'm not going to return it because I'm afraid I'll get one with a different and potentially worse problem. I'm fine with knowing to remove the phone not long after it's charged. I'm just happy I can now charge my phone reliably and without it being tethered.I will add one major gripe about the packaging. I fail to understand why Chinese companies don't take the time and short money to undertake proper English translations. Poor translations (Chinglish) make your product look cheap, like a joke, like you don't care (which you don't if you refuse to spend the time and money to do it right). This is the kind of thing that perfectly feeds into the misconception that all Chinese-made goods are cheap crap. The packaging for this product states "Wireless free", (I think they meant wire-free), "put charging" (I think they meant set the phone down to charge), and "take using" (I will not even attempt a translation for that). This is laughable and the joke is on us because we're rewarding them with our cash. How would the Chinese like it if they bought something in packaging with Mandarin that was so bad it was insulting?

very satisfied with product
works with the Magqi magnetic qi charger receiver! I wanted to add the qi option to my iPhone 7 for in home charging as well as my car. So far so good! I am using my iPhone usb charging adapter with the UGpine and I have noticed that you do need to plug the iPhone charger in the correct way for current flow...(since both prongs on the charger are the same size, which means no specific allocation for live and neutral). At least that is what I deduced happened when that charger wasn't working correctly. I simply plugged adapter in the opposite way and it began charging.

Pretty good
I've never used one of these before but I think it might take longer to get my phone charging with it than with a cable. The phone has to be perfectly placed otherwise it doesn't start charging. I usually have to poke it around a little and wait for it to say it's charging. Other than that, I like how thin this charger is, how it doesn't get hot, and the soft white status lights around the outside, though sometimes they'll light up like it's charging but the phone isn't.

U gave 2 stars because it doesn't work like it's suppose to
U gave 2 stars because it doesn't work like it's suppose to. I have the new Samsung s8, and i bought this because it was suppose to be a fast charger and cheap. It took my phone 3 hours to charge! I'd rather keep it on the cord. And it doesn't charge when my phone is side ways. I do have a lifeproof case, but it does the same thing with out the car on. Don't be stupid like me if you want quality, buy one that's a little more expensive.

Great Charger! Charges my S5 Quickly in Case!
I really enjoy using this charger! It is charges my phone very, very quickly with the Otterbox Case on it. And that is what I wanted!!! This charger is reasonably priced and I am well pleased with it. I've ordered 3 of these. The 1st one is great. The 2nd one wouldn't connect with my phone, and the third one never got here. It got lost! When I went to order a replacement device, they were out.

Bought this charger in lieu of another one I really ...
Bought this charger in lieu of another one I really wanted being out of stock for so long. It works but it doesn’t fast charge for iPhone 8 plus. You can keep your case on but it impedes the signal a bit. Without a case, the phone slides around, so I have to position it very carefully for it to stay put. Helps to close any apps you aren’t using and put the screen to sleep for a faster charge.

Charging my iPhone X with Slim Case
I have a iPhone X with a slim case and it charges my cell phone without any problem. Although it says the iPhone X does not get fast charge I still pretty impressive about the speed of charging my phone. I have it by my bed so that I could easily put on charging right before I fall asleep. It is very light and the black color/ slim design looks well in my room. The data cable also included in the package which is good. Worth the price.

Works well, great price
It charges very well. “Fast” charging doesn’t work on my iPhone 8, but it still charges faster than I expected. At least it did after I figured out that you put the phone on the black side of the device, and the prettier side with the chrome trim actually is the bottom. It won’t work at all if you try to charge it upside down!
