Pro Deep Pocket Irrigation Kit *Not Perio Pro Plus Model

I have a bridge. From time to time, food particles would get trapped under the gum line around the bridge. These trapped particles caused inflammation and bleeding of the gums. Normal water pick devices were not effective in irrigating under the gum line and removing the particles. The ViaJet with its small diameter irrigator worked well at removing the food particles, and preventing the swelling and bleeding.

I've been using the Viajet pro irrigation kit for 3 weeks now. The only suggestion I have for the makers of the Viajet is I wish it had a much longer hose. Even a detachable one. I feel you could make many people more happy by having a longer hose. But it doesn't. That is why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. So what does this mean ? Well for me I have deep pockets, so I had to purchase the Cannula tip along with the ViaJet. Which by the way works great! It's doing the job I hoped it would, which is delivering the TheraSol into my deep pockets. Since I have been using it only for 3 weeks now I do not know how effective it is healing me, as I have not been to the dentist yet to see if my pockets are improving ? The small hose works OK with the Cannula tip. I wish it was longer but it does do the job. I tried using the larger tips instead of the Cannula tip & it was a mess!! Water & solution was EVERYWHERE! This is where a larger hose would make everything neater, as the only way I see this not to be messy is by using it in the shower, because it's gonna spray everywhere. But with the Cannula tip it is not messy at all, so if you have deep pockets & you need the Cannula tip you'll be alright.Like a lot of people, who I spent the time to read their stories. I just had a deep scaling & cleaning done to my 4 quadrants. As I have sever Periodontal disease. My pockets range from 6mm - 9mm on the average. I also have severe bone loss. So after having the deep scaling & cleaning done, the first thing I noticed, just like everyone else that I read about from their results, was my gums had receded & it looked worse than when I first went in. The dentist said that this was normal, yea & so was my cash into their pocket. This is where I now wish I would have already known about how my gums would've looked & if the Viajet could have helped me then ? So when I went back to the dentist for my checkup to see how the deep scaling & cleaning had worked they then told me, I needed to have osseous surgery. And that's when I started reading about ALL the nightmares people were sharing about with this surgery. In a nut shell, I read from numerous people who first had the deep cleaning, saying they experienced the same receding gums that I had. When they had osseous surgery done next, they ALL stated they were shocked & wished they hadn't had it done. Not to mention after their surgery, they were then being told they would next need to have false teeth. So I started studying & reading everything I could, as I did not want to go through the surgery & pay the $4,000.00 plus dollars only to find out like my deep scaling & cleaning that the surgery didn't help either, now I need to get false teeth. That's when I found out about the ViaJet oral irrigation. So I bought it & have been using it for 3 weeks with the TheraSol rinse. So is it working ? In all honesty, I don't know yet as I have not had my pockets measured to see if they are healing. I have noticed one thing in this 3 week time though. It seems I am not as sensitive in areas of my mouth that I was prior to using the ViaJet. I am putting all my faith in god, claiming the blood of Jesus Christ for my healing & using the ViaJet at the same time. For those of you who don't have Christ in your life your missing out! Not just for eternity but here while your alive. I've been healed before when I shouldn't have, by claiming the blood of Jesus. I am an heir to the kingdom of god for I have accepted Jesus as my personal lord & savior. Now that I'm an heir, I have the benefits of being a child of god & therefore I have authority over sickness by claiming the blood of Jesus. For by his strips I have been healed! So first & foremost I thank god for healing me daily, & as I do I also use the ViaJet. I'm looking forward to the day I go into my dentist office to find out that my bones, gums & pockets are being healed. And when I do, I will give the credit to god! Then witness to my dentist who had no idea of who Jesus is & who told me my bones will not grow back & how I need this osseous surgery. Well I disagree Dr Choy, you don't know my god! The god of Israel. You don't know Jesus & the power of faith & claiming his blood, but I do & have seen his mighty work for myself! God bless!

These tips are very tiny and really do get into periodontal pockets. If you have gum problems, these are for you. They make your gums feel so good. Right now I am using water from the PureBlueH2O D-AZ-P35W filter in the Via Jet with perioxide, and my gums feel much better. My gums seem to sag in the summer when the air pressure is low (I have sinus problems) and when they do meat shreds get stuck in between the gum and tooth, and it hurts. These little tips flush everything out. They are worth the money.

The adapter that connects the canulas (small metal tube) to the irrigator wand cracks and will spray the fluid over your bathroom instead of your teeth. I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement for free, but the replacement broke also. They break in about 5-10 uses. Both cracked in the exact same place so I expect it is a design/manufacturing defect.

I've had several pockets around my teeth and one in particular that seemed to have a low grade infection. Since using the ViaJet and the Deep Pocket attachment my gums have been healing and I see no more evidence of the infection. I'll find out after my next dental visit if the pockets have gotten smaller too. I think they have gotten smaller.

Cumbersome to use, super slow, which means it takes longer to get thru with teeth maintenance, would not buy it again

Excellent product, so far. Sure beats thousands of dollars in dental surgery, not to mention the pain and recovery. Glad to have this product as an alternative.
