Works if you are patient
At first I thought it was a bad product because it would give different TDS readings of the same water at different temperatures. This was supposed to have automatic temperature compensation. I finally figured it takes time for the temperature compensation to work. I had to keep stirring the water with the probe until the temperature and TDS settled to steady numbers which may take up to a minute. This is my first TDS meter so I'm not sure how responsive other meters are, but give it a shot at this price if you don't mind the wait.
