Q: Has this got a sprung seat ? Need it for comfort and long bouts of sitting, can you feel the mechanism when sat for long period?

yes, the seat is sprung. I have been using it for both sitting and sleeping for 3 weeks now (due to injury). I have no signs of bed sores or anything like and am also getting a good 7 hours sleep. I cannot fault the chair so far. The massage function is rather strange but my grandkids love it!

Q: I cant get the heat & massage remote to work ? What am i doing wrong ?

Make sure the remote for heat and massage is correctly plugged in at back of the chair. Mine works perfectly.

Q: How hard/soft is the chair

This was bought gor my dad. And I've sat on it. it is soft and comfortable
