Case-Mate iPhone 8 Plus Case - BRILLIANCE - 800+ Genuine Crystals - Protective Design for Apple iPhone 8 Plus- Rose Gold

I received this case as a gift as I had this same case but for the 6s plus. I was super happy with it.....for about three weeks. The crystals are already beginning to come loose and fall out. I’m not rough with my phone or cases. To compare, my 6s plus case is a few years old and still in perfect condition. As expensive as this case is, crystals should not be falling off or coming loose after just a few weeks.

This rose gold case is absolutely gorgeous!! It looks like some beautiful jewelry! They look exactly like the pictures and you will find them to be better looking than the pictures as well!! The quality is amazing!! Great Buy!!

First of all I LOVE casemate, they are always my go to phone case company. I have bought diamond phone cases from them before and never had any issues. I received this phone case yesterday and I can already tell the quality is not to par with their other cases. The bottom part of the case is lifting causing the gems to move around, I’m afraid they will fall off soon. That never happened with my other diamond case with casemate. Over all I’m not too upset since I paid only $14, would never pay the full retail price of $80.

I REALLY want to leave a 5 star review. The case itself is absolutely gorgeous. However, within just a few hours of NORMAL use, the finish on many of the "pearls" (not really sure what to call them) have already started to come off. This is really disappointing, considering how expensive this is. Also, while this was listed as an 8 plus case, it's labeled as a 7 plus case. At the bottom where the plug in is at, the holes for the case don't line up completely.

I adore this case. I love the feel of the back and get so many compliments on the appearance - plus it's so safe! I have the iPhone 8+ and it fits perfectly. Just an aside - there are two cases - so it does add bulk - but I actually like that.

I love love love this case. I had this one before for my iPhone 7 and paid $80 at the ATT store. Then I got the 8 plus and wanted the exact same case. It offers great protection for your phone and the previous case I had I lost minimal crystals. Hardly noticeable and I had it for about a year. If you don’t want the cheap jewel look this is the best option for the price.

This is a really pretty case. Somewhat heavy. Adds quite a bit of weight to the phone. But that isn’t my beef. When I got the case it was as though the blue holding the crystals and was just rubber cement. It was easy to move the crystals around with my fingernail. I figured they would fall off in a matter of hours. But I got the case for an amazing price, so I decided to put a couple of coats of mod podge on it and see what happens. That seems to have tightened up the crystals. It’s not quite as bright and sparkly as I might want but still very pretty. I guess we’ll see how it holds up.

I had a casemate champagne case on my iPhone 6S plus, loved it, it protected my phone well. It was time to upgrade, so I got this one. This version is WAY better made than the case on my last phone, so i love that. Only one problem- i can’t use my wireless charging pad with it. Honestly, I wasn’t shocked by that, I mean, it’s a thick case with crystals on it. I see above someone from the company (I guess) claims it will work. It won’t.I suppose, if you removed the outer case every time you want to charge it, it technically probably would work fine charging with the inner protector on, but I 1) don’t want to remove the outer case 2) feel removing it frequently would probably compromise the case’s ability to do its primary job well-to protect my phone.I will probably keep the case bc it is SO pretty and secure and, until a week ago, wired charging was SOP for me. Just wanted to point out if you really want to do the wireless charging, pick another case.

I have previously owned several brilliance case-mate cases for my previous iPhones and they have all been great. However the iridescent iPhone X case is terrible, the entire sides were loose and within a week it had lost several crystals, after 3 months I had noticeable gaps where crystals had just started to fall off. Keep in mind my case was never dropped or damaged, this was purely a manufacturing defect. I had to return it for a refund! The case is beautiful but the quality is terribly. Save your money don’t buy this case.

So wife has had this for about a week-so far,dents on the bottom and scrapes starting to appear. The last one she had lasted about 2 years,doubt this one will. Avoid.

Very disappointed with this product, as much of the decoration has come off.
