The Pathfinder School Campfire Survival Cooking Kit

I haven't used it in anger yet, but I really like the quality. I have also purchased the Jolmo set on Amazon which is very similar but I like the Pathfinder better. Both are good quality but the Pathfinder bag is bigger so it has more room extra supplies and a much bigger snap clip. The Jolmo has a polished finish which is nice but I prefer the brushed finish of the Pathfinder. The Jolmo is about $10 cheaper but it doesn't come with all the extras that the Pathfinder does, only a canteen, canteen cup, cup lid, and stove. Everything seems extremely well built. I also like how the cup in the Pathfinder set has the same folding handle that the canteen cups had in WW1 and WW2, its a little thing but I love the old school design. I would definitely recommend this set for anyone looking for a good quality canteen set, its worth the money. I alwayd say, "you buy cheap, you buy twice".

Well made, quality setup. I’ve watched pathfinders instructors videos and pages. They use there gear and put them to the test video after video. I’ve watched other famous bushcraft and minimalist use them in the majority of there videos. The bag is awsome! Added a small Molle pouch for a small tool kit. So much more room then you think. The spork is way bigger and durable then the picture makes it look. I struggled to find a good system for a while. This kit is compact, durable, plenty of room to put your things or add on. I’ve packed mine out and it’s still super comfortable. I’ve fit coms, battery pack, small tool kit, cordage, all sorts of fire devices, flashlights, saw, knives, and more. Still light and compact you can’t go wrong with this kit!

I've used this set quite a few times and am very happy with the quality and functionality of the full set. The bag is big enough to include a few little extra's, so I added a fold-able rocket stove, a knife, and some cordage. The canteen holds just enough water so it not very heavy - three members of my family were fine on a half-day hike. I boiled some water in the included cup to make coffee, and everything about this kit "just works". This was a bit expensive for me, but after reading other reviews and now having used it first-hand I can recommend this without hesitation.
