It works as described. Easy enough to fit and as soon as the flue temperature hits about 75c it spins away. Trouble is the flue temperature needs to be about 250c for it to really get going and at that temperature our living room would be warm enough without this thing going. Maybe if the room was bigger and you were used to running the stove at that heat then perhaps it would work better. I suppose at this price it's worth giving it a go is what I thought when buying but not very impressed by it

Once the fire heats up enough it spins but doesn't push a lot of air. After owning for a few months I put a candle in front of it whilst it was spinning fairly fast and the candle didn't flicker at all so I twisted the blades slightly to a more acute angle and the candle now flickers so it's clearly pushing a bit more air now.

Works much more effectively than stove top fan with my wrap round boiler stove.

Very pleased with product and service

We previously had a stove top fan that sat directly on the stove. This was knocked over and broke so we thought to try one that connects to the chimney pipe to avoid this happening. The product was easy enough to assemble but takes a long time to get working and has nowhere near the power of the stove top fan and does not push out a noticeable amount of heat.

This is fantastic. The heat being pushed into my room last night was so much that after an hour the heat was almost too much. If you have a log burner you need one of these.

I already have two fans resting on the top of my wood burner but this one is placed halfway up the chimney pipe and it does make a difference in the room. Small and compact, it does not start until 50 degrees is reached and shuts down when the same temperature declines. Comes with a circlip to fasten and a magnetic temperature gauge which shows the actual temperature of the chimney. Highly recommended to those who wish to increase the stove's heating output.

Less than 1 month and the fan has stopped working. The fire doesn't get hotter than the fans heat limits. Can't contact seller as can't find a way to through Amazon
