Annoying but worth it!
When this first came in I was a little concerned when I unboxed it because it didn't look very sturdy and it sounds like a crying dog. My husky LOVES this toy so much it drives me crazy. My golden and my bird are terrified of it. It's a great toy to leave the husky with when I'm not home to give her something to do. Its CONSTANTLY going off, because she shakes it and chews on it. Sometimes she pulls the vibrating, noise ball out of the pocket but as long as I put it in there well it takes he awhile to get to it. Probably a little heavy for small dogs. About 4in in diameter.

my border collie loves it
Although this toy doesn't hold up very well with larger dogs like my border collie, I had to give it five stars because of how much my border collie loves this toy. He gets so excited when the thing starts jumping and barking. In fact, I have to remember to put it up at night because sometimes at 3:00 a.m. I can hear him in the other room playing with it. My other border collie, who is actually the more confident of the two, is scared of it, which surprises me. I thought it would be the other way around, the more timid dog would be afraid of it, but no, he goes crazy over this thing. This toy keeps him busy for hours. The only issue is that within a week or so, the covers are destroyed from my dog shaking it so vigorously. The ball itself seems to be holding up okay. I just can't see any toy standing up to the abuse this one gets, but no other toy has given my border collie rescue so much joy and happiness. That alone is worth five stars.

SO LOUD, great toy if you are savvy enough to disable its speaker otherwise you should pass.
Fantastic toy and my doggo loves it above all other toys. Loses 2 stars though because the sound it emits is LOUD and I cannot express that enough. It was so loud and was the same 6 second loop endlessly it was practically torture and the doggo really didnt like the sound either. Opened it up and desoldered the speaker wires from the board to get rid of the sound so now it just vibrates around, dog absolutely loves it now.

Gives us a break from the flirt pole
My 3 1/2 month old puppy gets bored of his toys really quickly except for his flirt pole, and unfortunately for him we get really bored of the flirt pole. He won't play with this toy every day, but when he does, every few days or so, it gives us a nice 15-30 min break from playing with the flirt pole. I got the option with the three covers, which is nice, since I can also switch out the covers to pretend it's a new toy. After reading the reviews before purchasing, it seemed like the general consensus was that the sound was annoying, it sucks down battery life, the on/off button frequently operates on its own, and the dogs destroyed the covers. Now that we have had this toy for a few weeks, I will throw my two cents in. - I agree, the sound is a little annoying, but it's not too bad. Maybe if my puppy played with it non-stop for hours I would have a different opinion. - The first set of batteries that it came with died after less than 24 hours, but once I put in Energizers, this has been working for the last two weeks. - The button does sometimes turn off on its own, but very infrequently. Someone suggested putting the button inside toward the stuffed side of the toy, and that seems to work pretty well. - Now for the covers. The one with the tail did start to split apart after a couple of days. The dog cover seems to be holding up pretty well, and my pup ripped the eyes off of the yellow cover after about 30 minutes. He also started eating the hair on the yellow cover, so we had to cut it off to prevent any gut issues. I also had to trip up the fur around the velcro. It gets caught easily in the velcro hooks, making it kind of hard to close and open the covers. Overall verdict - I am glad that I purchased this with the three covers. It could be a bit more durable and the fur fabric around the velcro could have been thought out more, but as long as you put in some decent batteries and place the on/off button into the stuffed section, it should keep your puppy occupied for some time.

Faulty, cheap product
I was excited to receive this product because my dog previously loved a similar toy to death after hours and hours of fun play. However, upon receiving this toy, I discovered that the electronic ball did not work. First, the box read that I needed 3 batteries. So I spent a while looking for where the 3rd battery went. Then I saw that the instruction card read that only two batteries were needed. Ok, small issue. But then the ball would not activate AT ALL. The instructions read to shake it hard, which I did for a long time. The button on the product would not activate it either. A complete waste of money. I could and should have sent it back right then, but then I still had the working electronic ball from the previously loved toy, and put that in the "Taily" cover included in the box. Within 2 minutes, my 4 month old puppy had ripped the tail off and bit a second hole in the fabric. I then put the dog cover on the ball, which was a tight fit because the ball included was smaller. After not much play, my pup had chewed the ear off. My dog has had other plush toys for months which are still holding up strong, so I know it's not my dog that's overly aggressive. This is just a poorly made product. Overall, this has been a bad experience and I will not buy another product from this company.

This toy vibrates, shakes, and squawks in such a way that it triggers the killer instinct in our miniature Schnauzer. We don't leave this toy out all the time, only to bring it out when we feel he needs some excitement. He barks, and attacks this thing, and it helps blow off some steam that usually builds up in a high strung dog like ours. The only thing is the noise from the toy can get on our nerves after a few minutes, so we distract him from it, and put it away until the next time, which helps keep him from getting bored with it. But it's fun in short segments. So far it's working good, and takes whatever abuse our doggie dishes out.

My favorite thing to watch is my dog playing with this and yelling at it

Dogs love this thing. The batteries last a reasonably long time because it switches off automatically after a short time. They have shaken the crap out of it and it still remains stitched perfectly. It is tough. The sound stops sometimes but is easily fixed with a bit of a twist or two after taking it out of valcroe closing pouch. No good for brothers Dog that straight away pulled the pouch open. Our dogs are happy attacking it without doing that.

This arrived and did not work. I even tried to change the batteries and put fresh ones in but it still did not work. Waste of money

This is a fabulous toy for self play my cavoodle loves to shake it and drop it to start it up. The noise it makes can be annoying but the joy it gives outweighs that. It has survived a couple of months maybe not suitable for a rough chewer.
