Metallic Brown Celestial Sun and Moon Kinetic Wind Spinner Stake

I absolutely love my sun wind spinner. It works beautifully and it is the perfect accent for my outdoor water feature. Would highly recommend this! Shipping time and package conditions were great.

looks great and spins in even light wind the only draw back might be the pole as in my area winds can be very strong recorded gusts to 80 mph every so often, so i helped it with a metal fence post. Had sustained winds in the mid 20's yesterday and all good and the blades become quite the blur with higher wind speeds. No rattle and color looks great in direct sunlight.

Just a heads up...this open box wind spinner ended up being not so good. Saving $15 bucks got me a spinner that 50% of it doesn't spin. The outside sun rays work beautifully. The smaller inside rays just sit there. And of course, I'm outside the return window. I was almost outside the return window by the time I got it set up and I was giving it the benefit of the doubt hoping it would start working. It's obviously out of balance and, no doubt, the reason someone returned it in the first place. My bad. My loss. My fault for trying to save money on a $90 wind spinner 🙄😤😩😢 Wish the return window was longer than 30 days.

Spinner works very well even in the slightest breeze. The post rods (3 sections) screw together. and in heavier winds the rods sometimes unscrew themselves as the spinner moves around and spins causing the whole thing to wobble. The ground fork only has the two prongs this also in heavier winds causes it to expand the hole in the ground also causing it to the whole spinner and pole to wobble excessively. Fix: The Ground fork needs three more prongs in offsetting 90 degree directions to each other to offset this. Fix: The poles need to have some sort of locking position to keep them from coming unscrewed as well to also prevent this. I have made these fixes myself and it works fine without coming apart somewhat. Mine did come with a broken off tail. but I made a hacksaw cut about blade deep into the end of the tail rod and put a little silicone on it and inserted it and it works just fine.Update (2020): Spinner still working great. I bought/added and put over the three pole sections a piece of 3/4" O.D. copper pipe and this slides right over the spinners original pole. I cut it to fit from the ground forks to just at where the spinner itself rotates. after gluing the the sections together. This also adds to the look of the spinner as well. This made all the difference in the world. the spinner does not wobble one bit after a whole summer and fall of many storms. I do bring it in side during the winter to try and preserve it.

The bottom portion that sticks into the ground got all gnarly and bent after a few high-wind days. The L-shaped brace broke in half. Considering re-ordering to replace because not many alternatives are as good looking and reflect both wind and direction---but I'm put off by the fact that it lasted just under a year. Maybe I didn't put it in deep enough, maybe we had super-strong winds, or maybe I got a bad unit. I suspect that the base is just not well made enough.

Don't buy this piece of crap, unless you plan to use it in an enclosed area like your living room! We returned the 1st one, because it was oblong and wobbled! The 2nd worked better after I made adjustments. The bearings are not enclosed, so when it's exposed to the wind and air the bearings suck up dirt and what not; ours failed after a few months. JUNK!
