Doesn't fit factory bars. Appears to only fit aftermarket round bars. Returned two sets for this reason. Was unable to completely disassemble before returning because of stripped out J bar. Cheaply made but would probably serve the purpose if they we're mounted on round bars and not removed.

Mounting was harder than expected as screws did not easily press into the plastic, but once they were in - I'm sure they will not easily come out. This simply required me to tighten the screws in advance to pull the bolts into the plastic and then release to install. Successful several trips to boat with the mounts and 0 problems. Note: recommend supplemental straps to mount to front and rear of vehicle for greater security - Walmart specials for $15 were great.

They seem like they would work well, we got one of the two sets installed real easy. However, we found difficulty with the second set because the bolts, nuts, and washers were all missing for that set. Not included. That was really irritating. Luckily I was able to scrounge some up that I had laying around, but still.

Worked out just fine

The boots are a bit long. It scratched the top of my car. But I had them cut down at alocal metal shop.
