Kids have fun
Great for kids but adults will enjoy making these dishes too. Enough to make 3 dishes. Easy to read instructions. Kid friendly. Use newspaper or other protective table covering prevent damage to working surface and also for easy clean up. Bought for granddaughter and now the other grandchildren each want their own kit. Makes a great gift and keepsake.

Good for kids with strong arms
This product has a lot of potential, but there are several drawbacks: when first opening the clay packages, they are hard as a rock, so an adult needs to help knead them, once softened, you still need a lot of strength to roll the clay, and they don’t really dry in the oven. I baked them according to the directions, but they were still weak and pliable, so I baked them longer. They are mostly dry ( even after days of drying on a table), but still kind of fragile. The Box shows using the clay to make hand-shaped “dishes” for jewelry, but the dishes are pretty fragile so they will break under normal use. As gifts they are cute, but kind of useless Knick knacks.

The kit was smaller than I expected but I was happy with my purchase. The kid was really cute and we had a lot of fun with it

It was fun
Ok first off, it was fun project with the kids( 4 1/2 yrs, 8 yrs and 10 yrs old) over March Break. 2nd they do look like hands..lol. 3rd they didn't bowl like the picture, as hard as we tried they are flat that is why I only gave 4 stars. Next time and oh yes there will be a next time, we will try cooking them over the back side of a muffin tin to see if that creates the bowl effect.
