Works amazing!
Using these along with a humidity dome is helping germination happen in a fraction of the time that is listed on serd packets. Cucumbers took around 60 hours vs the 7-14 day window on the packet!

Works perfectly
Much cheaper than in store same quality. Sporting seeds need the extra heat this is safe and effective

Great purchase
I got this heat mat to start seeds indoors. I was very surprised at the termination rate of some seeds! Would recommend!

easy to use
The area in my basement where I start my seeds is also where I have my grow lights. But the tempertaure in this room is not condusive to good see germination as this part of the house is cold. Adding the heat mate under my seed tray has improved my gerrnination percentage by shortening the time it takes for the seeds to sprout. It put the fun back into gardening for me.

Runs a little hot
Since I was planning on using this only for a few weeks, I did not purchase a thermostat for it initially. I tried starting some tomato and pepper seeds on this mat in a damp paper towel stored in a plastic bag. I've done that for years in the past and always had good success. The seeds just were not sprouting, so I checked the surface temp and it was about 95 degrees. That's quite a bit hotter than what is recommended for seed starting. I went ahead and got the thermostat and restarted the seeds. They all sprouted in about a week. If you're using this with a tray and seeds in cell trays, it might be fine, but using it like I wanted to for the first week or so it was just too hot.

works ok
feels a bit cheap and while it gets warm enough, it really is just barely adequate. Still I got all my starts to come up thanks to this product, defiantly an improvement over my set up last year.

I wish they had some controls
I'm using two of these to warm 2 gallons buckets for hydroponics. I use the included rubber bands to secure the seed mat to the bucket. As soon as the roots are established enough on my green peppers I can turn on the pump and air stone but it tends to cool down the water so I leave the pump off for now and just let the seed mats warm up the buckets and cover the net cup with a glass bowl. I can see the mats are working by the condensation on the glass bowls. The water doesn't get hot but warms the water to a wonderful temperature ideal for the formation of roots. I wish I had bought them last year when I had a bigger hydroponic veggie garden. I'd give them 5 stars if they had a temperature control of some kind.

It works!
I didn’t use it long due to no space, but it works. It doesn’t get super warm which is nice but definitely keep to indoor use.

Works good
Works fine, hopefully this will last for a few years. Have it on a temp controller and timer with no issues so far.

Significantly increases the sprouting time and success rate of seedlings
I wish I would have had this heating mat years ago. Seedlings starting sprouting in almost half the normal time and the success rate is much better now using this mat than in prior years without the mat. I did buy the mat without the thermostat so for that reason cannot rate "temperature control" above. I will say the default temperature that it is set at works fine. Highly recommend this heating mat to anyone who like me needs to start veggie and fruit seedlings indoors due to the long Canadian winters.

Puffy and creased plastic covering - not flat and sturdy like some other types.
If you’ve gotten a seedling mat before you might expect that they are all quite similar. This is not the case.My other seedling mats are made of a rather stiff plastic with a woven texture. The closest I can come to describing is like a sturdy placemat. This mat is more like an oversized heating pad. It is a sort of soft plastic sleeve that encases the heating elements, and is kind of puffy and wrinkly. It isn’t a huge problem in and of itself; trays fit on it fine and it isn’t going to cause major problems with the creases and puffiness, but it is also clearly not as good as those flat and sturdy and not puffy mats that I have, where it seems like the plastic is bound right into the heating elements. It seems entirely possible that you could catch and tear this puffy plastic and expose the elements which simply isn’t an option with the other kind.In short, it will do for as long as it lasts but I’ll be more careful about picking which brands I get next time.

No thermostat control
The product is as advertised, and it is my fault for missing the fact that there is no thermostat controller. I put it under my seed dome, and a few hours later my dome temperature went from low 70's to 92 degrees. Pretty sure that's not health for cannabis seedlings so I unplugged it. I will have to set it up on a timer I think, not really sure what to do about it. Would be nice if it reached a certain adjustable temp and stayed there.
