OtterBox FRE Series Waterproof Case with MagSafe (Designed by LifeProof) for iPhone 14 Pro Max (ONLY) - Valor (Purple)

I've owned numerous cell phones over the years and as soon as the Otter Box hit the market that's all that I've protected my phones with. That stated, this Otter Box FRE is by far the best engineered and quality one I've ever had. As advised I first tested it for waterproof and it certainly was. It goes together easier and quicker than any other one ever did - even my wife's new Otter Box Commuter ( really) on her new 14 Pro Max.Please bear with me while I explain why I spent (with tax) over $100 on an Otter Box.I called Otter Box customer service and the most knowledgeable and friendly customer service reps took my call. I told her that I did not want a "Screenless" Otter Box and she told me that the one's that that they initially produced with screens were failing on tactical through the protected screen, so they stopped offering them. I told her that I wear my phone on my belt, I'm also not easy on it, and what advise could she offer.She then told me that because of that Otter Box partnered with another company who had it figured out with a phone that needs "tactical touch and swipe" without a "home button".She warned me that it was going to be pricey - but it really was a nice piece of equipment.The sale was made as soon as I completed the call.If Shelby, from Otter Box ever get's to read this, you're a Customer Service Rock Star!One word of advice: The price for this Otterbox FRE keeps changing, so watch the offers.

I wanted the purple case but wasn’t sure which one to order because the one with the purple case in the picture says it’s green. The one with the picture of the green case says it’s purple. I ordered by description not the picture so I ended up with the green case and not the purple one I wanted. I love the case itself though so decided just to keep the green rather than go through the hassle of sending this one back to get the right one.

I was very skeptical about getting a case for my pretty phone. I had a cheap clear case but my boyfriend talked me in to getting an otter box. This one is not only very protective, it’s also very pretty. I get compliments all the time!!

Seems tough, had it for a few months now. Withstands drops in water, dropped from distances and used daily at work in a mechanic shop. I couldn’t keep a phone without one of these cases or one like it.

I've had the Lifeproof Fre (now the Otterbox Fre) on my iPhones for years. I'm big and always on the go, so my phone gets accidentally dropped and flung a lot. Since using the Fre, I've never had a phone break or screen crack. The only downsides are that you don't get to see the coolness of the iPhone, and it makes a big phone noticeably bigger. But it's worth it for the protection. And people seem to have no trouble hearing me on the phone despite the case.
