Osawa Japan this arrowroot flour (small) 150g

Silky, absorbent, safe, & odor-less, arrowroot powder is a delight to use as a body powder--necessary in hot, humid FL! Product arrived faster than the estitmated 4-6 weeks..took about 3 weeks from Tokyo. Be aware that it comes in small, roughly formed, hard lumps..not a powder/flour form as I had expected. Since the heavy-duty plastic baggie was factory sealed & I recognized the "Ohsawa Macrobotic Foods" label on it from the 1965 book "You are all Sanpaku" by George Ohsawa, who introduced Macrobiotics, I decided to just hammer it down to smaller bits. Then, I milled it a couple of times, in small batches, in my small Hamilton Beach Custom Grind coffee bean electric grinder-easy! This is about half the price compared to the only other source (a catalog) that I have been able to locate in US. So I will be ordering a few more bags next time :-) AND will do some research into it's other many usages/benefits, as hinted in the description above.

So yummy! My second time ordering. I was a little disappointed because the chunks was more powdered formed this time around, but the taste is amazing! I ate while bag in one day

すぐに溶けて美味しい葛湯ができますよ

とても美味しかったです。 マグカップで作ってとろみが足りないときは、レンジで20秒ぐらいずつ様子を見ながら温めると、とろとろになります。 美味しかったので冷まして松葉ジュースを混ぜて猫にあげたら、ぺろりと平らげました。

本葛と葛粉を比較した所、味、食感はかわらないと思いました(個人差があるのかな？) なので、自宅で使う為高価な本葛(葛粉の約4倍の値段)を使用するより葛粉で充分と思い☆3にしました。

とても滑らかなおいしい葛湯ができました。
