Evo: Aston Martin

The book is absolutely Bueatiful! I haven't read a lot of it yet but each and every page has gorgeous pictures and details about the AMAZING ASHTON MARTIN! It's history, should be talked about it like this in Every Book. After All this Esquitte Machinery has a story behind that no one who reads or knows about WILL EVER FORGET ABOUT IT!

EVO: ASTON MARTIN BEHIND THE WHEEL OF A MOTORING ICONI was really looking forward to reading and enjoying being quite the Aston Admirer and owning several books on The Marque in my library however I was disappointed with Evo Magazine's book which seemed like a magazine in book form itself, a very short read and not much of a pictorial, there are some nice pictures but not the whole book itself, as each section/chapter is a very brief intro to a particular chosen model and year. I was bothered by the British V8 Comparison to American V8 comment, kind of a like a put down so to speak Of American V8s and American-ness sadly. There is the Nimrod Race car in her but just a spread no other pictures, the cover is nice, take off the dustjacket and there's a different car on the book itself on the back bottom. There is the DBR1, The Beautiful DBR9 and Bond Movies,a section on one-off Astons, But to me the book fails as a coffee table book and as a reader I cannot even say it is a good history of the Splendid Aston Martin. Even the quality of the book as the pages have black stains on the top edges, the book feels and looks cheap. I am Keeping it in my library as a quick go to but not because it was informative.

This is an excellent book! It covers the complete history of Aston Martin, the ownership changes, all the significant road and race cars - including one-offs and bespoke cars such as the Aston-Lola, Bulldog and the Nimrod - among others. Author Mitchel Beasley did copious research and provides an approximate valuation for each car, as of the date of publication in 2017. Some Astons truly are affordable! There are several Aston Martin books out there, but for the money, it's hard to beat this one in terms of the photos, comprehensive coverage, history and custom/one-off cars.

Disappointed with the quality of the condition of this book, I had presumed I was getting a brand new product...however the dust cover is scuffed and also a bit curled over on the edges....Not very impressed as it is a present for someone. Hopefully the inside of the book is better than the outside !!

Great insight into the Aston Martin story. Would have personally liked a bit more detail in the tests of the icons among icons for me. The DB3S, DBR1 and pre-war the Ulster

Arrived next day and looks great - will be a present for husband.

This is a Xmas present and I'm sure the recipriant will love it. I wouldn't mind this book myself.Beautiful, stunning photographs and excellent quality presentation. I bought at £11 and think I have an absolute bargain.
