The drum is not a perfect circle, being made by hand the shape is irregular, and measures 11" across at one point and 12" across at another. The image was hand painted by Native American artist Colleen Bockman in her home studio. Drum is really more of a decoration than it is a musical instrument, There is no drumstick that comes with it, but buyer can find one cheaply just about anywhere. Ms Bockman has been an artist for 30 years, and has many pieces on exhibit in Arizona and Idaho galleries.
