I bumped it up two more stars for the great customer service and whenever we get the chance to use it again, I will update on the product itself.I purchased this last minute for our first vacation after seeing a similar product suggested. Once we arrived to the airport, we opened it up and put the car seat inside with no problems. It had straps to carry like a backpack, which made for easy packing throughout the airport. We had to take the car seat out to pass through the scanning belt and put it back in afterwards, but unfortunately one of the zippers broke when trying to close it up again. I didn't expect anything amazing for less than $11, but I also didn't expect it to break before we even arrived to our destination. Thankfully we tied off the draw string so that it wouldn't come open and it kept it together for the remainder of our trip. I would not purchase this product again in the future.

I like the design of this with the zipper and drawstring closure but unfortunately the mounts for the shoulder straps are inadequate. The first time I picked this up loaded with the shoulder straps the plastic mount snapped in two, this was at the airport on the outward bound leg so made transport of the seat very inconvenient. Imagine what a baggage handler would do to one of these.The vendor did reach out to us after this review and immediately sent a replacement of the broken one. We have not had a chance to test it yet, I will update the review when we do.

Used two of these for a trip from Minnesota to Florida and they were great! We wanted to bring our own car seats instead of renting on our vacation so we purchased the low end Cosco Scenera and used these bags. That particular car seat is SUPER light, and the bag made it a breeze carrying them through the airport. We did the gate check with these on the way down and did a curbside check on the way back and the bag came back without a noticeable mark. I know some reviewers were disappointed with how the bag held up but I think that has more to do with how the airline handles the bag and less to do with the quality of the bag. It is, after all, a nylon bag for $15.One note of advice - when you put the car seat in the bag, make sure the back pack straps are on the inside of the car seat (where the child sits). When you put it on your back the car seat is like a turtle shell on your back and it's really comfortable. Also, make sure you pull all the car seat straps tight and tuck them into the car seat before you load the bag.

I've seen car seats come out really trashed and filthy after going through airport cargo. We have used this a couple times to protect our Britax boulevard click tight. It's nothing fancy but it kept our seat free of dirt, tears, snags and any elements it may have otherwise been subject to. A friend of mine bought a bag that has wheels and was made to let you roll it like luggage. It was awful and didn't work at all. This was much cheaper and did the job. We bought a nylon T strap with D rings on each end that wrapped around our rolling luggage and hooked to our latch straps that worked so much better.

Addendum: when we went to use this bag for our second trip, the zipper broke. While it could potentially be used since it has a drawstring closure as well, I would not trust putting anything else in the bag with the car seat. Disappointed that the zipper broke during our only second use. Will be looking for a different brand.Original review: Thin but sturdy. We have only used this for one flight so far, but plan to use it for all our future travels. I even strapped my breast pump into the car seat on my return flight when we gate checked the car seat in the bag. I like that there is a pouch to fold down the bag and store it in. The bag did a good job of protecting the car seat.

Made travel easy. We used a little cart with wheels to get the car seat through the airport (at times using it as a stroller with our son riding in it), then at the gate put the car seat and cart still together inside the bag to check it. Protected the car seat and was very durable, all the handles made it easy for us and the airport crew to carry it up and down the bridge. Took it out of the bag and easily tucked it away in the diaper bag and we were ready to roll again. Easiest way to fly with a car seat!

survived the trip with a few holes and a torn handle. Might be good for 2 more uses, keeping fingers crossed.MODIFYING REVIEW: customer service reached out to me. Very friendly and customer satisfaction oriented. Gave me a replacement. So far so good. I just hope the cargo guys at the airports will also add as little thought while throwing our luggage in the name of loading the plane. Kidsy@ I'll def buy again when we have an addition.

I just used this car seat travel bag on my first airplane trip with my baby and it worked great. I liked everything about it. The compact nature of the bag when it's not in use. I also loved the fact that it zips and cinches down at the bottom with the drawstring. It also has a card to put your identification on the bag. My absolute favorite was the backpack straps. I traveled alone and was able to put the car seat in the bag just before boarding and carry it down along with all of my other baby items. The backpack option was perfect since I didn't have any free hands. I'm not sure how this bag will wear over time but it was perfect for what I needed.
