When these first arrived, I really liked them. I need canvas bags because I often carry things to and from the office that won't fit in my purse. I spilled some juice on one and it came out with a regular washing. But, by the third washing, the snap on the wider bag came off and the longer bag ripped along the seam. I guess these would be better if you didn't want to use them often.

Product arrived with what looks like a bleach stain. The stripes looked faded. Product looks nothing like pictured.

These are well constructed bags that can be used for many purposes. The stitching is strong, even around the handles. My test for capacity was swinging each bag around with 40 lbs. of dumbbells with no issues.Both bags include a zipper compartment (around a 5" square working area) to store keys, money, etc., on the inside and the wider bag has a snap for closure. They may be a little small for grocery shopping, unless you're just making a quick trip for a few items.Of note: In the illustrations listed below the main description, a 19.68" carrying handle is mentioned. This can be misleading, as shown in the photo with the taller bag. The handle on the wider bag is shorter than the tall bag. Also, while this canvas bag repels water, it can still soak through after a few seconds.

I purchased these mainly for groceries and also for overall every day bags for snacks, clothes for the beach, etc.They have little pockets for your keys, money and other small items!The taller bag also has a zipper which is nice to have.The canvas is lightweight which is ok, but I wish that the bottom of the bags were reinforced for when using these as grocery bags.Overall they are very good and worth the cost.

I chose the "Thick Stripes" design which I like. Like another review mentioned, it would have been better for each bag to have had a piece of cardboard or something in the bottom to give each bag some structure. I like the little zippered pouches in each bag, but they're not really very big. There is no option for personalization.Unfortunately, these bags are marred in a few places. See my picture of one of the bottom corners...it almost looks used or distressed or maybe the dye was not properly done. And I have 2 pictures showing where, it would appear, the dye (from maybe the dark colored handles) has gotten onto areas of white. Description says not to machine wash these, so I don't image these errors can be easily removed. Perhaps these marks are only on the 2 bags I received and not on others.

I like the look of these totes, especially how they coordinate together. Both have a zippered pocket inside and the taller bag zips completely closed, which is a nice feature. The shorter bag could use some sort of an insert to help keep its 'box' shape, it's not quite stiff enough to hold it on its own. They're made of a lightweight canvas, so they should hold up over time.

These are soft style canvas bags. They’re nice. Good stitching, gussets, strong handle. Zipper pocket inside each bag. They’re just not structured like in the pictures so I took away a star.
