Easy, Effective, and Cheap Foglight Mod!
Perfect for my application. I used this to paint the fog lights on my 2007 mustang. It is great! Very yellow and very clear! Even after many coats it’s still perfectly transparent so they shine bright and don’t effect my night driving. I definitely recommend this for anyone wanting to add something very custom at a small price! This is the second time I’ve painted my fog lights with this. I previously had it applied and after 3 years it started to discolor a bit so I removed the old paint and reapplied and it looks fresh and perfect again! I recommend just taking your time and if you wanna see how it will look first, I painted it on a clear plastic water bottle first and held it up to the light to test the clarity and it was perfect.

This is the stuff you want for your Fog lights
I used 2 coats to give my Honda Fit's fogs that cool sport look of yellow lenses. I had previously used cheap yellow vinyl film which was a PAIN to wrap the lenses, and it faded and crumbled off after about a month. Painting your fogs with this is WAY simpler. It's very easy to remove the fogs on this car and the paint was fast drying, so i finished the whole project in an hour. I did allow the entire rest of the day for the paint to harden up fully before driving. In some light, the yellow looks great, in other light i think i could do one more coat. No other prep was needed other than to clean my lenses with some Windex to get all the bugs and dirt off. The paint is VERY easy to apply if you have even the slightest experience with a rattle can. Please NOTE that it goes on FLAT and as it dries, will clear and gloss up. So don't freak out and keep spraying! First do a real light mist coat, followed by a couple heavier coats. Just let your coats dry in between for a couple minutes. Thats it! And if it dulls out, i'd have no worries about wiping it off next spring with some kind of paint thinner and simply giving them a fresh coat. Since I've only used a tiny amount of the can, this will likely outlast the life of my car!

This glass paint is amazing!
I don't normally do reviews, but this product works so well I had to give it credit. I repainted three glass tiki-torch lamps that were previously red. I cleaned/removed the red paint, and then used this product to paint them blue. One light coat was enough to turn them a beautiful translucent blue (think sea glass blue). I noticed that the paint looks clear at first, and then colors up as it dries, so don't apply too much thinking it is not working. I will be trying other colors of this product for other glass painting projects in the future.

Takes a lot of paint to get there but beautiful results
It’s really fantastic how subtle it is, personally wanted that full on tinted glass look for my partners whiskey bottle lamp, you 100% need to follow the directions and be patient. She had tried applying initially to get the shade she wanted but it caused huge drips we had to quickly clean off. I took care of this for her though later by applying a coat 10 inches away about 20 times and waiting a minute between each application. This took time but got the effect we wanted doing this in a larger scale window would take a lot of cans of paint and I wouldn’t recommend this for anything large. She was so happy when she saw it when she got home from work. Made my day.

Great results on tired, drab hummingbird feeder.
I have a favorite, glass hummingbird feeder that the birds loved until the color started wearing off the glass and petals. I stumbled across a pinterest post where someone had restored my identical feeder using red nail polish on the flower receptacles (sealed with clear paint), and this Krylon Stained Glass paint and Krylon Clear coat on the jar. (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00023JE7K?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share). The clear coat makes the stained glass paint weatherproof as it is not for outdoor use on its own. I love the result I got. I got a little heavy handed and created a few drip marks but not bad. I have plans for several other projects. As you can see from my pics, the feeder looks almost new. The first picture is the "before" obviously. The difference between the before and after is pretty remarkable. Yes, I may have invested almost as much as this feeder costs new but I have so much paint left that I will be able to use it to create a craft art piece I have always wanted to try as well as improve the look of several clear glass feeders that the hummingbirds don't come to. (I don't use the nectar with the fake dye. I make my own and it is clear. I didn't know when I bought the clear ones that the hummingbirds would pay attention to the color of the glass. I thought they only cared about the flower receptacles. They swarm the ones with the bright glass and only visit the clear ones as a last resort when the nectar gets low in the others.)

Turns Solar LEDs into Bug-Resistant Yellow
I bought stained glass paint for the purpose of turning my outside solar LED lights into insect-resistant lights. Yellow light is “warmer” and less blue/violet that pure white LEDs, and insects have trouble seeing it. So far, it has worked relatively well. Less mosquitoes congregate around this light than the others in my yard giving off white light. Time will tell if the Florida heat, sun, and humidity have a negative effect on the paint. Of course, the paint is only on the side pointing down, so I am not exposing my paint directly to sunlight. Due to some other reviews warning about the paint’s inability to withstand heat (and for your own health), I would not recommend using this on any light bulbs used inside the home, or on any non-LED lights. Incandescents produce too much heat. This paint is also very easy to apply. It’s really cool to use, so I started searching my house for other glass objects to spray!

It works, pretty color, but takes time, patience, and many layers.
I read some other reviews before buying and was worried how many people said it was red or another color. I have used this type of paint before and know it is a bit tricky, and this was no different. To get a perfect finish on glass you have to use the tiniest mist of it at least 10 to 12 inches away from your project. If you get too impatient and just spray a heavy coat or too close to your project it will run, drip, cause streaks and basically ruin the look of your project. "Low and slow" is the name with this product. Purple is one of the most difficult colors to achieve, and this product is no different. The first light coat you apply with literally be the color of red wine residue left behind in a dirty wine glass, more on the red side, so I see why people said that. You have to let it sit and dry between coats...which takes time. After about 4 or 5 coats you will achieve a deeper "grape Kool-Aid" color. Other colors in this line work better and faster than some, but again that comes with how the color and pigments are made and the fact that this is a sheer product. When you first apply it, it doesn't even look like you got any on the item, but again, you have to have patience. Pros: Does work, turns crystal clear (not frosted as the cap may imply). Cons: Takes a LONG time to finish project, have to apply slow fine coats, and let it completely dry between coats. Because it takes several coats to achieve desired color, depending on the size of your project, you may need more than one can. PRO TIP: make sure your glass is completely clean, dry, and free from dirt and oil before spraying. Wash with dish washing liquid, dry completely. Wear gloves (latex, cotton, etc) while handling item to avoid fingerprints and lastly use a paper towel and wipe your item down with rubbing alcohol and let air dry before spraying.

Amazing prodcut
This is pretty amazing. Got the tangerine color because I couldn’t find any “Amber” tinted glass spray paints. I was very pleased with this though. The first picture is after 2 coats. 2nd picture is after about 15 coats. And the last picture is the entire bottle. Which I’d assume is 30 coats. It’s time consuming but I achieved that amber color I wanted. Just know you will need a lot of coats to achieve it. It’s a very light paint.

Great paint
I purchased this paint specifically to paint the lenses on my Mazda fog lights to eliminate the need to buy new fog lights. Colour is spot on. Unfortunately I couldn't find this paint anywhere in Canada so had to order Amazon and shipped from US. I recommend this paint especially if you want that european yellow light look.

Perfect for painting car signal lights
Sprayed something like 10-15 light coats. The orange tint came out perfectly. I also added 8 coats of Dupli-Color's Perfect Match clear coat, wet sanded it with 2000grit to remove the little dimples and then applied a polish to make the signal lights shine. There is a tutorial on youtube about doing this type of thing. "How-To Clear Coat Over VHT Nightshades," however, I skipped sanding the base tangerine orange because the paint sprayed on perfectly, and left no visible spots, dimples, or anything. Was really impressed. 5 stars!
