works extremely well all the info on the state of the battery has a low voltage warning but there seems to be no way to program it to cut off the supply in the event of a battery drain and must be done manually

Very handy if you want what this does
So wile building your install you may want some of the functions offered by this shunt. So this works is easy to install, and integrates into your system easily. To be fair they doake their systems easy.

Allows remote monitoring any where in the boat.
As described. A useful way of monitoring batteries remotely. The smart phone interface is much more user friendly than the small panel meter and cuts out the need to wire one in. Good price. Prompt delivery.

Great simple battery monitoring system
First off I was super impressed with the simplicity of this system and the fact that it's waterproof. The customer service is outstanding. Received answers within 12 hours. I have changed out 2 AGM's for two DC House 100amp LiFePo batteries and installed the Smartshunt 500a ips65 with the temp sensor #ASS000100000. The wiring in the photo is messy as was taken in the testing setup. Love the bluetooth software and info provided. Download with android and install and config was simple and works like a charm. Range only about 10M and less if you have metal between you. The great thing is everything is in the battery box with no holes to drill. If you want a remote screen you can add it on. For me I am good with bluetooth and no extra wires. Fantastic product Victron!

Ottimo strumento per barca a vela
Perfetto, facile da installare e molto utile. Ho preso il modello da 500 Ah anche se ho due batterie AGM da 260 Ah (tot 520 Ah) e non ha segni di surriscaldamento. Lo uso su una barca a vela, collegamento bluetooth ottimo
