It’s a great mandolin for the money. Have found it easier to use without the hand guard bit (just be careful). Blades are sharp and it feels sturdy.2mm attachment works perfectly on firmer fruit and veg like apple, onions and potatoes.Would highly recommend.

Great product, good value and great supplier. Reason it is not a 5 is because there is no instruction leaflet, however the supplier is seeking one from the manufacturer. Works brilliantly but you need to be very careful when changing slicers and particularly when washing up - the cutters are very sharp. Family all have cut fingers - (some due to being too macho to use the hand guard!) - it is easy to forget how sharp the cutters are, especially when in a hurry.

I was really looking forward to using the mandolin, it works to an extent, however when you get down so far the spikes get in the way. It is value for the money paid, it does work and is easy to use, the blades are sharp and chops well

Easy to use. It sliced the potatoes nice and thin. Having the container underrated the blade makes it easier to hold when slicing and it catches the veggies.

Terrible. Does not do its intended job. The grip tool is useless and the vegetables just slide out without slicing at all. Tried it with a range of vegetables and nothing was sliced or julienned at all; just slightly scratched vegetables!! Completely useless. Sent back immediately.

Sturdy and versatile but came with no instructions so will be a learning curve getting used to it.

Very poor quality, broke after 1 use

Yo soy de las que dedica parte del fin de semana a preparar la comida de toda la semana. Perdía un montón de tiempo en picar las verduras prácticamente era lo que más tiempo me quitaba. Nunca me había decidido a comprar un cacharro de estos porque al final tenemos tropecientos mil cacharros por la cocina que nunca usamos.... Pero este ha resultado ser una maravilla, me ahorra muchísimo tiempo, corta fenomenal, fácil y rápido. De verdad que no puedo estar más contenta con esta compra. 100% recomendado!

Der Hobel ist verdammt scharf! Die Handschuhe die dabei sind, sind mir zwar in M etwas eng, geht aber auch bei Größe 9-10. sitzen dann nur etwas enger. Der Kunststoffgriff hilft bei den Endstücken von Möhre, Zuchini und co. Leider habe ich den Sinn der scharfen hochklappbaren Harken noch nicht verstanden, da es keine beigelegte Anleitung gibt. Jedenfalls geht da keine Kartoffel oder Möhre durch. Der Hobel an sich ist aber fantastisch und schneidet von dick bis ultradünn, alles!
