The box the mirror comes in is RAZOR sharp. Both myself and my bf got HORRIBLE deep slices in our finger when trying to open it. I should've known at that point that I wouldn't like it. The mirror was a pain to set up. The app wasn't working and the mirror motion sensors weren't working for me, and I got super frustrated. I also don't need a mirror that tells me where my dry skin is. I don't use fancy products. If you are someone like Kim K that loves her some selfies and can spend the time infront of a mirror and spend a bunch of money on skin care products, this is for you.

Oh this has to be my new favorite accessory in my beauty/skincare arsenal! In one week I have been able to track my redness, pores, wrinkles, fine lines, dark spots, and overall skin tone. I have seen results in just ONE WEEK.I recommend doing this at LEAST once a day. It will help you, as long as you are going to give it the time that it needs.If you are prone to redness like me, and have sensitive skin, I recommend waiting about 10-15 mins after washing your face, and applying various creams. You are going to be more irritated right afterwards because your skin is just sensitive.I also would like to point out that if you have any questions about your HiMirror/Plus/Plus + that the staff on here are more than happy to help you! I have even been able to set up my favorite pictures for my device to flip though when it is in sleep mode, and how to set up things like my Spotify. This has to be one of the smartest purchases that I have ever made, and I am so glad that I did it!Also... How fun is it to just say HiMirror Listen.... and to give it a command.... It makes me feel like royalty! ^_^

This was on my wish list and I received my mirror as a gift for my birthday. I had a little problem with the setup as there was a software update needed that didn’t start right away. I thought the product wasn’t working until the update started later. After the update, it was smooth sailing. My skin already has improved in all but one area. Pros: ability to change the lighting on the mirror based on where I plan to go, the weather update, watch YouTube videos, images and charts to show skin progress, hand gestures. Cons: can’t watch YouTube videos while using the mirror (split screen would be nice), not able to access Pandora (currently only Spotify paid service), my beauty box product library is very limited due to only being able to add products via barcode, no place to store makeup product info, limited to only one stand choice available (I ordered a photo frame stand but it places the mirror at an angle.Overall, I love this mirror and am excited to sit down and use it daily. I have recommended it to many people.

Why this is a bad rating:This product experience is SO frustrating. It has so much I want but is not accessible. It’s not run by touch screen, but a remote and gesture functionality that is not user friendly and takes 4 gesture attempts to navigate to a different screen. There are so many great features that just miss the mark of being standalone. For example, I can track my face through photos, but I can only view those photos on my app. And maybe this is a detail that lives online somewhere, but it’s not easy to find and I didn’t get any answers from customer support.I do love the app because it IS intuitive and can show progress. I do love the mirror because it has multiple lighting settings.Most importantly, I’m not sure if it actually tracks my dark spots, wrinkles, or fine lines because I have darker skin. So just take that into consideration if you actually need meaningful results vs. a fun tech toy.

Although it includes a remote control, you'd still need to pair it before using and the hand gesture function is not so sensitive. It takes a long time before I get to wherever I want. And then they released the mini version which has the touchscreen function.

Purchased as a gift but was able to see it in action and help set up and use. Product is well constructed, with a lot of features. There is a bit of a learning curve to set up but overall a very unique item for the beauty enthusiast. The seller is easy to work with also. Thanks

Despite living in California my HiMirror constantly tells me the weather for Kansas.Other than that, it’s been pretty amazing. I had the hardest time doing my eyeliner before... but now with the camera and zoom options; I am able to see it from another perspective which has been a godsend! Also, since turning 30 in August I’m kind of worrying about aging stuff. Thanks to HiMirror I’m able to have an actual photo record of my face and determine if I’m being delusional or if my concerns are legitimate.Also the mirror is a great size and there are several lighting options! This is so much better!!! than the disappointingly small crowdfunded mirror from another company that I waited 6months for last year.
