Blind Melon / Sippin' Time Sessions EP

I'm not reviewing this to talk about the content of the album, because if you haven't heard this amazing debut yet, then shame on you! What I am writing this for is to review the vinyl version, which by the way is just nothing short of excellent. The records are dead silent and the packaging is not skimped on. The inner liners are poly-lined paper and includes a separate liner with lyrics, etc. If I could give this set 10 stars, I would!

As a huge Blind Melon fan, this is an album that I have been looking forward to for a long time. It's just as good as it always was. So nice to be able to hear it on vinyl. If the album wasn't enough already, included extra tracks from the album soup just send it over the top. If you're blind melon fan this is a must own.

I was in love with the original album so perhaps that makes me bias, but this sounds totally remastered to me. Plenty of new vocal licks and harmonies have clearly been unearthed from the original mix and brought out into the open. Two thumbs way up!

Was so glad to see this on vinyl great album

The usual album in the form of two vinyls, the last side of the second vinyl is "bonus tracks" which is pretty cool. Also book is full of cool old pics and stuff.. Pretty cool. Good buy for a fan.

Forgotten Relic

This poor review has nothing to do with Blind Melon's music, and everything to do with the vinyl pressing on their album. I love this album, but this record is terrible. I received it as a gift and it skipped so I exchanged it. The new one is just as bad. Aside from it skipping, it is not true to sound. It sounds garbled, and just noisy. I have an excellent record player which typically doesn't have issues playing old (even sometimes scratched) LPs.

What a good find!! for an amazing price too! this is a must have for a Blind Melon fan get it while the getting is good!!

The only ways to improve on Blind Melon's first CD release are 1) re-release 20th anniversary vinyl edition and 2) and Sippin' Time Sessions EP. Simply fantastic.
