A little smaller than I expected, but super nice and absolutely served its purpose. Well worth the price to not have an ashtray left open for ashes to fly around or having to look at cigarettes butts. The lid makes it all the better.

This is a high quality product made from sturdy stainless steel. The elevated stem used to extinguish your favorite smoke comes out for easy washing and cleaning. The base has a rubber non-skid surface so it stays put. Wind doesn’t affect it so you won’t have ashes where they’re not wanted. It has three notches that will accommodate cigarettes. The lid is heavy and keeps odor at bay and rain from entering the interior keeping it dry. I highly recommend this product.

I rarely write reviews. However, this ashtray is the bomb! Why am I so excited about an ashtray? Well, this one does everything it says it would. It eliminates the stink, it snuffs out burning cigarettes, (when you put the lid on), it’s sturdy, and it’s just overall awesome! It does look like an Urn, but I find some humor in that. It’s ridiculous how long I looked for an ashtray. I bought another one and promptly returned it because it was too small. I bought the larger version of this, and it will probably hold a months worth of cigarettes if not more. Depending on how much you smoke I suppose. I smoke American Spirits, And the little notches that hold the cigarette are the perfect size. When you’re done with your cigarette, you just put it out on the flat metal inside portion and close the lid and no more stink! I would recommend this to any smoker. Or anyone who lives with a smoker and doesn’t wanna smell the nasty.

Overall, the ashtray is well built and sturdy. Not too heavy, but heavy enough to stay in place. I love that it is so deep (4+ inches) so I don't need to empty it every time I use it. The lid helps with the smell too. I purchased this for smoking cigars on my patio. I wanted something "deeper" than traditional ashtrays to prevent wind blowing ash all over me and the patio. I should have known when it advertised "ashtray for cigarettes/cigars" that it wouldn't hold a cigar very well.

Good quality product. Small enough to not take up space but still works as designed. We purchased the small one.
