** DO NOT TRY TO APPLY WITHOUT WATER!**Use a spray bottle to mist the desired application area with water, *then* apply the film.Just installed it. Impossibly tricky to apply dry, so I can totally see why other reviewers had issues with bubbles, but I'm used to applying films to my windows and figured you just needed to spray the area with some water first. Worked like a charm. Water allows you to reposition the film slightly and squeegee all the bubbles out. Didn't interfere with adhesion. In fact, I went through a carwash hours after applying and it didn't show any sign of budging. I removed and repositioned the tape a lot during the application without any damage to my car, and I doubt it will damage the car when I remove it years from now.

Came back to order another roll and scrolled down to the reviews and am very surprised at the number of reviews stating how challenging it is for some. My personal experience is that it was easy enough; maybe due to my residential window tint experience, though that requires water. In either case, great product, very easy to install.

Installed on the plastic of my kick and door panels, easy to work with, heat is a must when covering sharp contours, be careful with the heat, only a little is needed. Overall pleased

I am not very good with these types of things but it worked out really well from me. I used it on my back bumper to avoid the possible wear and tear of the weather or putting things in the trunk. Had it on for over a year now with lots of washes, and I love that it’s still clear!

This is clear guard works great for my new EVO that I really need this to protect my door sills, but I gonna buy more their sill protectors for my front hood!! Decent price, fast shipping, I love you!!!

Used water to install on the car’s doorsills. Got most of the bubbles out, but the tape didn’t stick down 100% around the corners, so I had to trim the tape to avoid the corners. Overall, it’s not bad for the price, but could be better. I’ll probably try something else when these get old.update - a few days after application, more bubbles appeared. I think some adhesive must have came off when doing wet application. I will replace these with something else.

Length and width was great but it did not stick well on the side panel on my mini van where kids step into the vehicle. Especially hard plastic does not stick well but in glossy smooth surface, sticks well
