Works really well in higher traffic areas to give a little more protection over Monocoat. We did our counters with Rubio, and after a few months got tired of having to clean off water rings or soap residue quickly. This stuff gives you a lot more protection I feel like, and gave it a nice sheen too. Will update in a year or so

Rubio is the best on the market. My 4 year old could apply and get professional results.

Originally developed for coating wood floors in commercial applications, the Rubio Monocoat is a fantastic finish for furniture. I have finished several pieces with the Rubio - including a cherry cutting board coffee table, knife block. and other projects. I am in the process of building cherry kitchen counters and will be using the Rubion Monocoat on those counters. It is easy to apply and finish. It takes very little of the material, so the cost balances out with other finishes. It is easy to refinish, should the surface be damaged. You don't have to refinish the whole piece - just the damaged area. On top of it all, it smells great! I've even suggested to candle and fragrance oil manufacturers that they make a fragrance like Rubio Monocoat.

Easy to apply, no smell, and leaves a beautiful looking, and feeling finish. My only complaint is the design of the accelerator can. I use syringes to accurately measure the two components and the design of the can makes it difficult to get it out.

What can I say. That hasn’t already been said about Rubio product. This turns what already looks good into something even better

I have lovely old beech floors. Rubio is a different mindset where you continually feed the finished floor and you don’t get wear and tear on a surface finish like urethane's.It’s safer and richer looking.
