These Traps Are Great!
I bought 2 of these mouse traps about 3 months ago and they have been working flawlessly...almost 20 mice caught to date. They are well made but not weather-proof so they need to be kept dry. They also require calibration so that they tip when a mouse walks out on them. Using a digital kitchen scale I weighed a mouse (inside a zip-lock bag) which I had caught in a standard trap...15 grams. I then found a small bolt, nut and washers which were about the same weight, and used them to calibrate the traps (15 grams of sand, gravel or anything else in a small zip-lock would work as well.)...very easy...instructions come with the trap. The very first night I caught 3 mice. These traps are great! They're simple, they reset themselves and they're very effective. I had been using various rodent baits to control the mice and became concerned about animals and birds that might ingest the mice and be affected by the bait. With these traps I don't have to worry. I am very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend this product.Update: January 3, 2019The traps are still performing very well. Since deploying them on 4/1/2018 I have caught 65 mice...61 in 2018 and 4 more last night. To overcome the issue of the water freezing, I use the least expensive windshield washer fluid I can find...in my case it's a Wal-Mart product at $1.78/gal. The traps are not weather proof and I wanted to set one up near our bird feeder. So I bought the cheapest 35 gallon garbage can I could find and drilled 3- 1 inch close to the bottom. I placed the 5 gallon bucket with the trap in the garbage can and in place of a wood ramp, I used a short piece of 3/4 inch sisal rope, that I purchased at Tractor Supply (Lowes may have it as well) and hung from the bucket next to the trap, in its place...it works very nicely. I ended up drilling about a half dozen 1 inch holes around the top of the garbage can to avoid condensation. Both these traps have worked flawlessly and I continue to recommend them.

Works Well With Modifications
Magnets are too good and at first mice walked out and ate the Peanut Butter. We try taping the magnets to making it easier release under mouse weight. Finally just took the magnets out and have been catching mice. A little of a mess to clean up drown, bloated mice carcasses. But it works well and is reusable versus glue traps we were using..

Don't buy this for rats even though it is advertised ...
Don't buy this for rats even though it is advertised for rats! It's way to small and the magnet not strong enough. It starts moving when the rat barely steps out on the platform. I know, I have videos! Rats are much larger and heavier than mice. It's just not right for rats. Be forewarned.
