These are indicated to be 2 ply and while they are a tiny bit on the thin side they are truly beautiful. There's quite a bit of variation of color in the long feathers of the ostrich boa (this looks like a combo of ostrich and marabou twisted together).The color is definitely mauve. The headband does NOT match the boa btw. Bought several more in various colors.

So I bought these for a project that I’m working on and unfortunately they are too thin for what I need them for. I realize that I need at least a 6-10 ply. If you know anything about ostrich feathers this is a great price. There are some people who might buy this product and think that the feathers are too thin… those people don’t know anything about ostrich feathers. This company offers a great product for the price. I have tried to buy ostrich feathers wholesale and they are not much less than what this company is selling them for. Honestly, people need to do more research before forming opinions.I will most likely buy this product again for other projects that I’m working on. Five stars great product!

I bought it to combine with a yard of ostrich feather to make a sleeve cuff. I absolutely love it. I definitely recommend using both to save time and frustration lol. I simply added the feathers to the boa to make it pop out more. I used 1 boa and 2 yards of ostrich feathers.

These boas are not thick at ALL.I was very disappointed.

The boa came very full and fluffy! When it is first out of the package it looks flatted but once you take it out and fluff it, the boa is good to go ! Was the perfect addition to my dress got plenty of compliments ! I didn’t add any other feathers it’s not needed! I will be purchasing again!
